KAPOW! Burger — Restaurant in Vancouver

I recently visited KAPOW! Burger with three of my coworkers, and unfortunately, we were all quite disappointed with the portion sizes and overall presentation. A couple of us had eaten here before and had great experiences, which made this visit especially disheartening.

Previously, I ordered the Boom! Burger and was impressed by its size, flavor, and overall value — the double patty with all the toppings was both satisfying and filling. However, this time, all the burgers looked noticeably sad and underwhelming. They were much smaller than expected, and all four of us finished our meals quickly, still feeling hungry.

I ordered chicken strip for $17 but they gave me 4 tiny pieces of pure sadness, and they didn't give me the Carolina bbq sauce that was advertised. What's even more messed up is that I ordered their TATER TOTS, but they gave me CHIPS instead! The burger came cold and tasted wet. How is that even possible. I'll attach a picture of the strip and tots below. I didn't take a picture of the burger because I felt bad, but I wish I should've because the real reviews are somehow being blocked. The burgers here are absolutely amazing! We often make the trip from Burnaby just for the unbeatable combination of a great pint and a delicious, well-made burger. It’s always worth the drive. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are consistently friendly and attentive, which makes every visit a pleasure. We especially love the Aussie Burger—it’s our go-to order.
