Subway — Restaurant in Vancouver

Been to this location on two separate occasions and both times were almost equally as bad. The first time I went in there the veggies and meats looked so bad that part way through them preparing my sandwich I actually faked a phone call and pretended I had to leave immediately canceling the order. I went back a second time months later thinking that they may have just had an off day on my first visit, unfortunately that wasn't the case. This time I was in a rush and needed to get something to eat before I went to work so I ignored the sad looking ingredients behind the glass and let him make my sandwich. The end result was barely edible. Bread tasted like cardboard, bacon tasted like a dirty pig, the tomatoes were runnier than ketchup, and the lettuce was soggy... I threw the sandwich out after a couple bites and vowed to never return to...

This is our regular go-to subway as we live close by. I’ve never had any issues with my orders (I often put them in online and then pick up). It can get busy in there at peak times, but staff have always been friendly and as efficient as they can be. Read some of the negative reviews and was surprised - the lady who usually works there is quiet so perhaps could be taken the wrong way if you’re wanting a Kindergarten teacher personality to serve you. When I order in, she’s always happy to load up the toppings if I ask for it. We often get a free cookie when ordering online if the manager is around. The store is always clean and tidy, the food is fresh, the staff are polite and I’ve never had any issues incorrect order when picking up. Ignore the complainers - there’s nothing wrong...

It was my birthday so I came into this subway hoping to get myself a birthday treat. The line up was super long and the workers were very slow at their job. It must have been their first job since their mom kicked them out of the house. So I ordered a foot long turkey sub with extra olives and extra spinach. The worker didn’t make my sub correctly, gave me an attitude and said I was not speaking clearly. She threw the sub on the counter then gave me a look. I was so dissatisfied with this level of service i received. I wanted to speak to a manger but there was no manager around. What kind of store doesn’t have a manager? This is a ridiculous experience and it ruined...
