I'm a doordasher. Yesterday I came in to pickup an order. I showed one employee the screen and stated that I'm a dasher and I'm here to pickup an order. He didn't say anything and just pointed to another employee. I then went to her, showed her my screen and stated the name of the customer I was picking up for. I was then ignored again. So I waited a while as I could see they were a little busy, after about 5 minutes of waiting I saw another food delivery driver just walk in and pick up their order off the table and walk out no hassle. So after noticing that my order had been ready this whole time I went and grabbed it. The second I do the whole entire staff yells at me asking if it was my order and pretty much accusing me on stealing from them. I don't even eat sushi. I assume it was because of my race. When I compared the interactions between the other driver who was white, it was completely different, he came in showed the screen the lady looked and smiled and wave him out the door. I was ignored and accused of stealing food. I honestly don't care what race preference you have I only care that my time was wasted, when I spent a total of 8 mins there when I could've been in and out in less than 1. And I know to people who don't do delivery service like uber eats or door dash, 8 mins doesn't sound like alot. But for every minute we're not driving we're not making money, unlike the people working at these restaurants who...

I have eaten there about 6 times. Fresh food, average roll portions, and big portions for tuna sashimi, also they have wakame and some places dont stock it. I will say the miso soups a little watered down but thats the only complain I have, and oh yeah I like how the califonia rolls dont have cucumber ( I hate that) and as for the prices.... a bit high as I spend about 30-35 to be nicely filled up, seems a bit much but its sushi and I love sushi and its healthy food. Oh and the staff is nice and its quick service. This is my complaint. I have gotten the wrong order 40% of the time I have eaten there. I have eaten there 6 times and I have gotten the wrong food 2 times. I ordered sashimi tuna and I got salmon, I ordered yam roll and I got mango or papya .......I get the food to go and its tough and sort of uncool to open the food and finger though it to make sure its the right order. Its not a big deal I guess and I dont hold it against them but I am going to fully check each and every order when I go back, people make mistakes and I have made lots in my life but 2 out of 6 times I got the wrong food is a bit silly. Nice people , good food, good portions, average price, messed up orders so I give it 3 stars, nice people though and I will go back. I wonder if there is a language barrier or something or what lol Good place though I...

Just horrible. Waste of money. On my way home but I wasn't near any of my usual sushi places so I found this. I ordered a miso soup, salmon nigiri and deep fried pork Gyoza. The miso soup was okay but then the salmon nigiri came..I eat salmon sashimi/nigiri almost everyday, it wasn't fresh, the cut wasn't good, the colour wasn't good, it was on the pale side. You could see small blood vessels in some of them. I get that happens sometimes, but it wasn't just one. The Gyoza was alright but the sauce wasn't good, I think they used a red wine vinegar instead of white vinegar.

The presentation of everything probably made the nigiri look less fresh, they don't use plates they use plastic to go boxes. Just not what I'd want for eating in the restaurant. Also there was a fruit fly that kept flying around, I was worried it would get in the Gyoza sauce.

The waitress never checked on me if I wanted something else or needed anything, it wasn't even that busy.

The restaurant was dirty on the floor and baseboards. Like it hadn't been scrubbed in a year.

The total for all that was almost 20$.. very over priced for trash. I didn't even finish, and I still felt obligated to tip.

Left feeling unsatisfied and annoyed I spent...

This was my second time here and it will surely be my last. I ordered a beef teriyaki bento box and the beef teriyaki was the worst I have ever tasted in my life. As you can see, the sauce was not mixed in with the beef and was just poured onto it. On top of that, both the beef and rice was cold when I received it. Needless to say, I didn’t finish my meal and barely touched the beef teriyaki. To make matters worse, I provided my feedback to the server, who in turn just apologized, but didn’t do anything about it. I was so disappointed with the whole dining experience that I couldn’t wait to leave the restaurant. Please do yourself a favour and stay away from the teriyaki dishes. You’re better off spending your money at the food court, which makes a way better teriyaki than the one I had. Sad to say I will not be returning again. I never write reviews, but really felt the need to share my experience with others before they make a bad decision that they can’t take back. At least the spring rolls were hot and crispy.

I had a layover for the evening in Downtown Vancouver. Didn’t want to go far. So scrolled down the list and found a sushi restaurant. It was only one block down and had good ratings. So off I went. Walked into one of the smallest restaurants I have ever seen. It was very clean and I was immediately greeted by a very friendly young lady who told me to sit wherever I wanted. She immediately brought me a menu and took the drink order. I ordered some crispy veggie spring rolls to start. They were fried to perfection and not greasy at all. I decided I wanted to try beef udon and a spicy combo. The beef udon was amazing. The noodles were cooked exactly as they should be. The beef very thin sliced and the broth had an amazing beef flavor. Next the spicy combo with a salmon, Tuna and dynamite roll. Definitely some of the freshest sushi I’ve had in a long time. Overall the food and service here are top notch. If you are I. The area give them a try. The only problem you might have is deciding what to get. 🤣

Really wish this could have been the better experience I was hoping for. I got so excited to find a hidden gem downtown that offered sashimi salad listed online for less than $9. Then I find that the price on the in-store menu is notably higher by a few dollars. Not a big deal, mix-ups in prices online and in person happen all the time. But the salad I got was the final deal breaker. The random tossing of ingredients on top, I could have forgiven if the food had been amazing. But rather than sashimi, I got under the basic vegetable mix was what tasted like frozen salmon, tasteless octopus, and baby shrimp. 2/5 stars because while I want to be understanding of online price mix-ups, I have to be honest about my disappointment all the same.
