Awful take out. Ordered sweet and sour pork, dry garlic pork ribs, fried rice noodle with beef. The best dish was the fried rice noodle with beef. Seasoned well, but not outstanding from any other restaurant with fried rice noodle with beef. The dry garlic pork is extremely chewy and over fried. The dish was so over fried parts of the bones were so brittle it broke off with little to no effect. Completely difficult to enjoy a simple dish. The sweet and sour pork is mostly inedible. The pork is chewy and definitely days old, isn't marinated or fried, canned pineapple and syrup used for the sweetener, 4 measly pizza topping pineapple pieces, undercooked red and green peppers. The sauce has no flavor depth besides being overly sweet and bland. There is more oil than there is sauce. You can see in the corner of the photos there is a solid 1/4" of oil over the thin layer of the so called sauce 10/10 regret ordering take out. 3 dishes for $68 from uber eats. Highway robbery at its finest.

Ordered a few years ago through Uber and was disappointed with the taste compared to other Chinese restaurants. I thought I'd give them another try. This time, I ordered the 1 person $17.95 (family) combo that's only available from their website for pickup $19 after taxes. Food was ready upon arrival. Very decent portion except the hot & sour soup was only half full and the container being more of a small shallow sauce container. Lemon Chicken was excellent, crispy not greasy, BBQ fried rice on par. The Hot & Sour soup wasn't quite authentic, neither sour nor spicy enough, felt like missing some ingredients, would go somewhere else for that. I feel like they should change their restaurant name to better reflect their food. It's nice they offer delivery for $1, but quite a wait time for that.

Updated review - summer 2022: Since my last review, we ordered twice more from this place. Both times the Shanghai chow mein had a very strange cardboard taste. We thought the first time was a fluke so ordered again. It was so bad it was inedible and we had to throw it away. Now I hesitate to go back, although my first two experiences were great. Previous review - Oct 2021(5 stars): We recently moved to the neighborhood and in the mood for noodles. This is the best Chinese food I've had in Vancouver! I can recommend all the dishes we've tried so far: chicken chow mein, Shanghai chow mein, Szechuan green beans. We really appreciated the side of chili oil so you can make the dishes more spicy if you want. This will be a regular go-to for us!

Her petite stature was contrasted by her vibrant personality and infectious humor, making us feel instantly at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, guiding us through an array of dishes with enthusiasm and expertise. Her witty remarks and genuine smile added a personal touch to our dining experience that was simply unparalleled.

The Feast: Now, let’s talk about the food—a symphony of flavors that danced across our palates. We began with the Broccoli with Beef, a dish that can only be described as a masterpiece. The broccoli was perfectly crisp, the beef tender and succulent, all enveloped in a savory sauce that struck the perfect balance between spicy and savory. We also savored the Kung Pao Chicken, which was an explosion of flavors—juicy chicken pieces, crunchy peanuts, and fiery Szechuan peppers melded together in a dish that was both exhilarating and comforting. The Mapo Tofu, another highlight, was a testament to the chef's skill, with silky tofu cubes bathed in a rich, spicy sauce that was nothing short of divine.

Slowest restaurant I’ve ever seen. Terrible service. Okay food. Edit: Thank you for your response. Please train your staff better. I was not waiting in the restaurant the whole time, I was trying to get an estimated time for the food but your server/cashier was keep giving me made up times (without asking the kitchen) and a bad attitude. The food was marked “ready” on the app although I ended up waiting almost 30 min which costs me around $20-25 since I’m on the clock and it’s rush hour. Also, drivers do not request for two orders, sometimes Uber will throw you two orders and you have to pick them both, there’s no option on the app.

It’s interesting how you respond to my review as if I was a Uber driver only. I posted my review as a customer who used to come in and eat at your restaurant. The main reason why I stopped ordering from your restaurant was your unfriendly service, I understand the language barrier which is not what I’m addressing but it is the unprofessionalism. Funny you mention that in your reply to my review.

Have a good day.

EDIT 2: Seems like you've changed your original response to my review... Anyhow, please don't tell me you understand after reporting me to UBER EATS for something I didn't do. Now I can't work with UBER because I got deactivated. It was the only source of income I had since Covid so thank you for that! I went through your other reviews, people seem to complain about the same things as I did... Slow, rude staff and bland food. I live in the neighbourhood so as far as I know you guys been open more than at least 6 - 7 years, which is crazy when you think about the service and the food you provide. I just really hope that you take these reviews seriously, not just type back a fake and in-genuine reply. I'm sure all of these issues addressed by so many people can be solved with a better manager and a better paid staff. I wish you best of luck for your...
