I never wanted to write a review because I didn’t want too many people to discover this spot — it’s been our little hidden gem. But now that we’re out of town, I feel it’s only fair to share.
Provence has been our family’s go-to brunch spot for 3 years, and it has never once disappointed. The quality of their breakfast offerings is consistently excellent.
Their fresh baguettes are warm, crusty, and perfect — truly some of the best we’ve had.
I especially love their eggs Benedict, which are always perfectly poached and beautifully presented.
Their variety of mimosas is also a fun touch — it’s the perfect pairing for a relaxed weekend meal.
One of the things we appreciate most is that their patio is dog-friendly, so our fur baby can always join us. It makes our brunch outings feel even more like a family experience, and the staff are always welcoming to pets.
Speaking of the staff, they’re always on point: friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. You can tell they care about providing a great experience.
Pricing is fair, especially considering Provence is located in one of the most sought-after and expensive neighborhoods in Vancouver. The value, atmosphere, and quality easily justify it.
If you’re looking for a dependable, charming, and delicious brunch spot that welcomes both humans and pups,...
Read moreIt’s called “The Wine Bar” so I suppose it’s our own fault that we keep ordering food every time we return. The wine selection is fine, and the selection they offer during “tappy hour” okay, but the food has only ever just been aggressively mediocre and kind of overpriced, but we are here to have some wine so whatever, and the service has always been good — and it was tonight. But we’re pretty done now. Because along with tough veal and greasy artichoke bites, the already boring risotto balls were served up cold in the middle. TWICE. We sent them back the first time. “So sorry! the chef sends his apologies!” the server said. The very apologetic chef didn’t even check the temperature of the replacement dish. Again, cold in the middle. And with that, we’re done with this place. The patio is small, the service is slow (even though they’re friendly) and there are better wine lists and PROFOUNDLY better menus elsewhere in this...
Read moreWent to have dinner with my girlfriend and we were expecting a little bit of a meal 🍴 but it came out to be more of a bite sized snack despite the label in the menu saying it's "medium sized" this was definitely not medium at all. Don't get me wrong, it tasted amazing but given the size and price I'd definitely think twice about getting a large meal there. Ideally this is perfect for a small bite to be paired with wine or a drink (I had a cocktail 🍹 but it wasn't that good despite being around $13 for it) Service was nice but nothing super note worthy, just polite and fast enough. It has some amazing views if you sit outside though and has a heated patio. Went to blue water Cafe afterwards for an...
