Yesterday was my first experience at barburrito.
The staff is very friendly and it is very clean inside.
I bought 3 veggie ground tacos, a veggie ground quesadilla, and a root beer soda for $27.72. It includes two cups of salsa, a cup of sour cream, and a small order of tortilla chips. Aside from Los Huesos, this makes it the most expensive Mexican restaurant in Vernon.
However, the tacos are delicious. The quesadilla could be packed with a little more ingredients.
I tried my friend's Oreo Churro. It is difficult to find good churros in Canada (I have visited 63 countries and Canada just can't do churros). However, the Oreo Churro at barburrito is the best one I have found.
The taste here is distinct from Tacotime, Taco Del Mar, and Quesada. This is by far the best dine in spot for Mexican food in Vernon that isn't a fine dining experience.
Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Saturday night at barburrito…. The atmosphere set a low bar as I waited to enter the restaurant in my Christmas pyjamas. Through the glass… I could see a man in line that was tying his shoe with an entire set of cheeks flowing from his pants. This was not a plumbers crack it was a full moon situation here. We went in after the full moon subsided. What happened next was very irritating and brought out the Karen in me. I kept getting asked what I wanted on my burrito bowl while full moon man in front of me was standing in front of the ingredient list and forcing me to talk over him while he ordered. It was very annoying. Irritating for full moon man too, I’m sure. I finally asked if we could wait till he was done. I tipped a dollar because I felt bad about being a Karen. I also ordered the house hot sauce. She warned me it was spicy. It was not. I had to put my own hot sauce on it at home. The food was absolutely delicious. I love the bang bang shrimp here. I hope next time is just...
Read moreMy son ordered a burrito here with NO veggies, other than corn and lettuce (no sauces) and the woman REFUSED to add rice to his burrito upon request. I told her we have never had this issue at ANY other barburrito location in any other city or similar chain. Rice costs nothing compared to veggies and she held a hard line and said no. We will never go back here. Poor customer service not willing to budge on something like this was idiotic. This was also one of 4 orders for our family. Our bill came to almost $50 and you can't add 2 tbsp of rice? Hope you enjoy the loss of loyal customers. Our hockey and lacrosse teams come here for 2 different age groups often and we always encourage families to go here. Say goodbye to all that business. We'll be going elsewhere. Enjoy...
