So, you're looking at a review for Panago Pizza, wondering "What does Panago Pizza provide that other competitors don't?" Well, a few things, actually.
Panago Pizza is a Canadian owned, company (local friendly!) and has a store located in the northern half of Vernon.
Being a Canadian based chain pizza company, Panago Pizza has a lot more flexibility in terms of what it provides, and oh boy, does it provide a lot. Their menu consists of a wide variety of Pizza options, including simple Ham and Pineapple, and Pepperoni, to Philly Steak, Chipotle Chicken, and Beef Taco.
Are you a vegetarian or vegan? Then Panago Pizza has you covered! With a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options, including plant based meats and dough.
Speaking of their dough, Did you know, Panago Pizza makes their dough on site? (I'm unable to confirm whether or not the plant based is made fresh, though I will try to find out and confirm in an edit at a later time)
In addition to Pizza, Panago Pizza also provides side dishes such as: Salads, Chicken Wings, Chicken Bites, Super Cheesy/Garlic Cheese Sticks For deserts, they provide mini cheesecakes, a chocolate pretzel cookie (which I highly recommend) and Sweet Cinnamon Bread sticks. In addition, they provide organic juices, San Pellegrino Water, and a wide variety of mouth watering dips.
So, is the quality worth the price? I'd like to quickly compare Panago Pizza with competing Vernon locations. For this purpose, I will be using a large pepperoni pizza. (This is excluding delivery charges, and includes Tax) At Papa Johns, a large pepperoni pizza will cost you $17.31 At Panago Pizza, a large pepperoni pizza will cost you $17.59 At Domino's Pizza, a large pepperoni pizza will cost you $16.79 At Pizza Hut, a large pepperoni pizza will cost you $20.99 At Jim's Place, a large pepperoni pizza will cost you $18.85
As you can see, Panago Pizza is pretty on par with prices from competing locations. However, with dough and Vegetables that are prepared on site, Panago Pizza has some of the highest quality pizza you can buy in Vernon. Especially when compared with competing locations.
So, should you spend your hard earned money with Panago Pizza? If you enjoy quality, local, and delicious pizza, then I would strongly recommend you order from Panago.
Finally, my experience with them has always been nothing short of phenomenal. I once ordered a Taco Pizza, which arrived to me, not cut, and lacking all the fresh toppings. I called them back, and within twenty minutes, had a replacement. Excellent customer service!
With all that in mind, I give Panago Pizza Vernon a solid Five out of Five. In other words: Exemplary!
Keeping it Simple Review -Vegan and Vegetarian Friendly -Lots of options -Excellent Customer Service -Relatively cheap in comparison to competitors -CANADIAN OWNED, LOCALLY...
Read moreI would’ve given them ZERO stars if it was possible. I ordered a Tropical Hawaiian pizza from them today. “45 minutes”, the system told me, so I walked to the corner store to get a drink.
I didn’t even get through the front door of the store before the delivery driver was calling to say he was at my house - 21 MINUTES later. “Is it even cooked”, I asked, as I rushed back to meet him without my drink.
The driver just laughed.
It WASN’T fully cooked and it was a normal Hawaiian. One can immediately tell the difference between pizza and BBQ sauce, and with no bacon on it as it should. Irritated, I called in to complain. I spent over $31 for a MEDIUM pizza including delivery, THIS slop wouldn’t do.
They gave me a $10 credit (which buys virtually nothing there) and the lady said that the next pizza would come out “well done”. I said to her, “I hope it’s not gonna be burnt”.
She just laughed.
Sure enough, the pizza was burnt. I didn’t bother calling back a second time, because it’s obvious a trained monkey would be an improvement to their staff. I also learned never trust a Panago staff member when they laugh. They are lying through their teeth.
To send out a pizza that looks like THIS is outrageous. Clearly either intentional because I complained, or they are too stupid to know...
Read moreI’ve never given a 1 star review but unfortunately this is what my experience with Panago Vernon warrants this evening. I placed an order online for pickup at 5:35pm, this was not the quickest time of pickup I could select mind you, to arrive at 5:37pm and be told the order had yet to be started. The workers were not wearing gloves, which was off-putting but if all they are doing is touching food and the food was being baked at hot temperatures I could get onboard. Unfortunately the worker running the cash register, accepting payment also jumped in and began making pizza without washing hands or wearing gloves. Once the order was complete I had to ask for the sauces we ordered after they only presented one of the four initially. The staff working were very friendly and that I would give a five star rating to but everything else was truly...
