As I was waiting for my food, a customer came in with a sandwich he had gotten at the drive through. He said they forgot the cheese. (It happens). The staff took the sandwich the customer had been handling (probably with unwashed hands since he was coming in from his car) gave it to the kitchen staff who placed the used outside sandwich on their food prep station where my food was soon to be, added cheese to a partly eaten sandwich, wrapped it back up, handed it back to the counter staff and NO ONE EVEN CHANGED THEIR GLOVES!! They didn’t wipe down the prep station, nothing. I have never seen someone bring partly eaten food in and have something added to it. I’m pretty sure health standards dictate that they should have thrown the food out and provided the customer with new food as ordered. This has been my go to Arby’s for longer than I can remember. I work 50’ away but I demanded a refund and will NEVER go back. You lost a long time customer so you wouldn’t have to pay for another sandwich when you made a mistake. This is not safe food handling, especially when so many people are sick with covid and other Illnesses.
It also took over ten minutes for them to figure out how to give me a refund. Train your staff properly...
Read moreSpent the long weekend in Edmonton. Hit up this Arby's as we don't have one where we live anymore unfortunately to feed the family on the way out of town this morning around 11:30.Traffic was busy and I was driving so waited to eat my chicken bacon Swiss after I got out on the open road. It was absolutely terrible. The chicken was rubber and chewy. Almost like under cooked. It wasn't pink but super creepy texture. It felt slimy and maybe it's because I waited half an hour to eat but the whole bun was wet and falling apart. Couldn't eat it was very turned off and scared of getting sick but now half hour into a 6 hour drive home wasn't gonna turn around so had to drive home hungry..One daughter ate hers right away and had similar complaints about hers to but just thought she was being fussy in the back seat Didn't think much of it but now I feel bad for telling her to stop being fussy and just eat it. Also could not believe how small the kids menu chicken and cheese slider was.. it was tiny my 9 year old daughter ate it in 3 bites. Good thing i had bag of chips to tide her over.. We were left hungry and very disappointed 😩..I guess the good news is we didn't get sick and the curly fries were...

Thank you for allowing me...
