Catcher Teppanyaki & Tea — Restaurant in West Jasper Place

The tea here tasted fantastic! I really enjoyed the panlam tea I got and my sister enjoyed hers as well.

The actual food box I got was good as well, I found the noodles to be kind of disappointing/basic but the beef, sushi, tempura was all up to standard.

They gave a small amount of the typical dressings for sushi which I actually appreciated as it was easier to eat all of it.

Cashier was friendly and helpful as well which led to a good experience, our food was cooked fresh and delivered quickly and they gave me chopsticks without me asking which is nice because sometimes they assume you don't want them, the little touches really helped.

For what it's worth it was really good and a nice new...

I came here for the first time earlier this week and everything about it was amazing! The staff is so sweet and friendly, the food was so good (better than edo and I went there religiously lol), and the atmosphere/decorations were a nice touch. I was adore the fact that they even had some actual plastic bento boxes to make it look and feel more authentic!

One of the staff members I encountered while going to the washroom, and I loved that he took the time to ask me how my meal was after. Such a sweetheart!

Beautiful decor and probably one of the most eye-pleasing food establishments in the phase 1 food court. Aesthetically it makes most of the other places look like they haven’t renovated their since the 1990s.

Staff was friendly and service was fast.

I ordered the Terrayki chicken rice and was slightly disappointed. I feel like I can make something better at home (and I’m not a great cook either).Besides that I haven’t tried any else on the menu so I might give them a few more tries.

Overall, a good place to try out in phase 1 if you are up for some quick Japanese food...
