My parents and I came in after a long day of hiking and heard this place was decent. We were greeted by who I assume to be the manager (long brown hair in a red sweater), and she threw some menus on the table and disappeared into the back of the restaurant. Within two minutes we knew what we were having and piled the menus on the end of table. We waited, I kid you not, twenty five minutes to see if a server would acknowledge us before deciding to leave. Three servers walked past us, directly spoke to other tables and gossiped in a group at the front counter for nearly half an hour. We grabbed our own glasses of water at the 22min mark because we were absolutely parched, again not garnering the attention of any of the wait staff. The restaurant was not busy, nor was there any lineup at the door. As we got up to leave the three girls chatting at the door told us “thank you, have a good night”, not realizing that we had been waiting in the restaurant, starved, dehydrated and eagerly catching the eye of any server that would be willing to come over and check on us for half an hour. Truly disappointed in the absolute lack of service received, especially during the off season. Will not...
Read moreWow, what a serious dissapointment. I ordered sushi takeout for my daughter and me and went to pick it up and was surprised at the cost. $100 for two people. Just to be clear I order sushi often in Vancouver and it's usually $40-45 for the same items. I failed to notice (my bad) that the tuna tataki was $40. $40! For tuna tataki! I have eaten tuna tataki a lot and never, ever have seen that kind of price. I figured I must have accidentally ordered a party platter but no, it was just a sad, small container of tataki. It wasn't very fresh which was salt in the wound. It didn't get any better when I opened up the rest of the rolls. Sad, small things, fish not fresh, no love at all. I'm writing this to save you from making the same mistake of ordering here. It's sad because I feel like some businesses in Whistler make no effort to deliver a decent product - by virtue of location they are guaranteed a revolving door of paying customers. This is one of those places. I'm sorry Sachi sushi, but you'll never see another dollar from me and hopefully others will save themselves from...

As a person with a dedicated sushi addiction and has eaten at every sushi place in Whistler this is the #1 spot.
I’d start off by saying I’ve eaten at every sushi place in town roughly 5+ times some 20+ times and a few 50+ times.
Best service, you’re always greeted with a warm smile, timely service, great knowledge and very informative servers.
The vibes are right and the open sushi counter makes for a perfect viewing of techniques and skills displayed by the chefs.
The freshness of the fish, the quality, and the way they prep it is by far the highest standards in Whistler.
Sushi rice is always consistent which is a great sign for any sushi place.
The price on some things are a bit high but once again all the factors listed above make it worth it.
I always get the 10 piece omakase which is always different and makes in an excellent treat. Favourite bite being the sweet sweet Ebi(drool worthy).
Other than that you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. 9.8/10 if I’m comparing it to local...
