Love the bands, but if you don't arrive the minute the doors open there wont be any room even to STAND where you can either SEE OR HEAR anything. Yeah, there's a back room now, which I guess allows them to sell more tickets - but no view of the stage and even worse sound. I generally try to avoid going here for shows now because of this. Got stuck in the back room with friends the other night for a show that wasn't inexpensive.... and left early. It wasn't worth it.

Not sure why they didnt put their bar/kitchen back there when they "renovated" and opened up the rest of the front area...

The manager of this venue behaves as the gatekeeper for blues music in Winnipeg. If he doesn’t like you, you will not be able to play there even if you’re a talented musician. He inhibits and essentially ruins careers of musicians. No one should have this much “power”. Staff are rude, snobby, arrogant, and self-serving.
