Beantown Coffee — Restaurant in Woodstock

Went there a few times and felt very welcomed, but the most recent visit we had will our last unfortunately due to a dirty blonde, woman working at the counter.

There was a woman around age 30 with dirty blonde hair who was at the desk and from the moment we walked in she just glared at us as we grabbed our coffee. Didn't say hello, didn't even smile once she just continues to talk to someone else in there. She made us feel very unwelcomed here and uncomfortable. When we finally payed she just had this snide look on her face and it felt like we were an inconvience to her. We are a quiet young couple and don't usually get the nicest attitude from people anywhere in public(as young people ussualy don't) but this was bar none the worst one yet. Atleast don't look at us like we are doing something wrong. Never again. Triggered my anxiety like crazy when I was in there. Horrible taste left in my mouth :(

Honestly, don't go into customer service if you can't even fake a smile. I've worked in CS for 4 years and it baffles me how someone can be so rude to the people who provide their income. You have to go here! The atmosphere is pleasant and fun! The way you would expect from a local cafe :) the coffee options are pretty great too, the normal stuff you'd expect like lattes, Americanos and various coffee type drinks but they also always have some crazy fun drinks that I've never seen at other cafes which is excellent. The small room off to the side is tons of fun, nice and quiet but you can sit with a group of people and play some excellent board games provided by the cafe! Great place to sit, stay, have a drink and a laugh, definitely a place to enjoy chatting or doing some homework! Definitely recommend...

Janet is respectful however there is a young lady that works in there with dirty blonde hair & I find her a bit snarky & dismissive. She often tries to snip at me when I request she stamp my loyalty card & I've witnessed some after hours inappropriate behavior between her and her male friend along with two small boys both under the age of five. I don't feel a business should permit after hours PDA while small children have temper tantrums in the store or are left unattended in a vehicle outside! To me this is not professional conduct & for that I greatly deduct stars. The beverages are decent though although...
