Le Bistrot Lastarria — Restaurant in Santiago

It was unfortunately a very disappointing experience for us. It was meant to be a special dinner for my birthday, but the waitress wasn't even helpful (let alone welcoming). There was no courtesy for the date, and they even got my order wrong. The terrace was lit with cold lights, which really didn't help the ambiance. The table was unstable to further improve things... And the food was unremarkable too, even though the price was considerable. There are better options around...

Going to a French restaurant while in Santiago was not planned but we were pleasantly surprised. This restaurant has a large menu that includes French but also many Chilean dishes. Service was reasonably fast and the dishes served were very pleasant. Had a wonderful experience at Le Bistro Lastarria. My server, Alejandra, was friendly, professional, and very helpful with the menu. Food timing was perfect, and the butter and pâté spread for the bread was absolutely delicious.
