Wonderful place! My husband had his haircut at the barber shop and had a great experience- he turned up without an appointment when the place had just opened at 10am and he was treated with kindness and perfect service. The haircut was on point too 👌🏻 We loved the restaurant vibe so returned for dinner that evening and the food was excellent. The cocktails were fantastic, made fresh to order. Would throughly recommend anyone wanting a real treat for a reasonable price- some of the best food on our 2 week adventure of Chile was had here!

The barber shop is the primary motivation for this review. An old fashioned, cutthroat-razor shave is really a must do; this spot is such a grand setting, and such a professional finish! After the cut, lunch at the attendant museum-cum-restaurant is an expensive but very worthwhile experience. Food was good, but the unhurried service was outstanding. The setting is, again, a must-do. Lots of money, very well-spent!

The venue is as exceptional as the service is bad - if you like your food with a side of abuse, then this is the place for you. Each time I tried to order I was either brusquely dismissed or snapped at by the waitress as she breezed on by, who made it clear she was far too busy and important for a mere mortal such as I.

By all means go in and have a look at the historical interior - which you can do for free - and then have a nice meal elsewhere; at this price point, you are likely to have a better experience at many other restaurants. (The food itself, like the live music, are not bad but nothing to write home about.)

Tl;dr save yourself some money and heartache, and have...

A Destination for Fabulous French Food at Modest Prices

Great food in an incredible place. The atmosphere is like no other place in the world. It is located in one of the oldest buildings in Santiago in an artsy festive neighborhood. It has numerous rooms, each with their own atmosphere with an eclectic collection of antiques and memorabilia - be sure to take a roam around. The food is French and really excellent for very reasonable prices - a huge value for the quality of the food. We were also fortunate to see an incredible live classical music concert there. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is a must see...

A funky little spot, but other than the assortment of old barber artifacts displayed throughout, not much to recommend. For starters, the seats were quite uncomfortable. They made one of the worst martinis I've ever had to gag back. The food was OK, but nothing to go out of your way for. I had a tuna on creamed corn. The tuna was presented as a huge chunk, not an exact cube or nicely sliced, just a 'chunk', and the corn was sweetened, like they use in their pastel de choclo. The service was good, and while the seats weren't great, the table was a good size and well separated...
