Firstly, the food is quite substandard. Promises a lot but delivers little. I ordered a foie gras gallette and a truffle pasta. The piece of foie gras was overcooked and tiny. You could finish it in one bite, and the rest of the gallette was an onion gallette. Not even caramelised onions as they couldn't do that properly. Then the truffle pasta did not contain truffle. It was obviously just a mushroom pasta. It didn't even smell like truffles.
Secondly, inattentive service. We asked for tap water which never came. They didn't bring us cutlery until we asked for it.
Thirdly, ridiculous way of calculating service charge. We used the entertainer app which supposedly gives you buy one get one free. However when the bill came, we discovered a service charge on top of the service charge for the free item, meaning a 21% service charge when it was meant to be free.

Read moreSince my last visit, the crepes and galettes taste still as good as before but now there are more options on the menu such as roast chicken, mussels, pork, pan fried cod.
For me, I had the duck galette and desserts because these are just my favourites.
The duck galette was crispy with a lovely cheese filling in the middle.
For dessert, had the caramel crepe, pineapple waffle and mini pancakes.
The pineapple waffle was surprisingly good with tangy pineapple pieces complimented with sweet icecream on top of the waffle.
The mini pancakes look like mini British pancakes but they are slightly thicker and firmer with a taste similar to the crepes.
Finished off with my favourite Earl Grey tea and you get honey to add to it which makes drinking...
Read moreI always like the brunch and lunch menu here (they have one of the best croque madame in town). This was my first visit for dinner after quite a few months and it was just great as usual. The shop was newly renovated with more tables now. The staff were the same friendly and helpful (it was nice to see some familiar faces). More selection on the wine menu and I liked the one I tried (no.5) for the night. The food was all great (the steak tartare was amazing, the tiramisu was also a nice surprise). From starters to dessert, all served at perfect speed although the shop became busy. I usually try to arrive at hours when it's less crowded but this time we came on a Friday night. Recommend to make a booking in advance if you're visiting...
