During our recent visit, we felt very rushed, which significantly impacted our dining experience. We had barely finished our meals when the waitress informed us that many people were waiting outside for a table. This was frustrating, as we had only been eating for about 20 minutes and were still enjoying our drinks. It felt like we were being hurried out the door rather than being allowed to savor our time there.
If you are considering dining here during lunchtime, be prepared for a fast paced environment. It seems that the restaurant prioritizes turning over tables quickly, which can detract from the overall experience. The food itself was just average, the portion sizes were standard and the prices were typical for lunch, but nothing stood out as exceptional.

Read moreDalat Vietnamese Restaurant is situated on Landale Street, previously it used to be on Anton Road. Their signature items are grilled, and many reviews have mentioned that the grilled chicken tastes like the chicken at Wingsik.
Ordered the grilled chicken and grilled beef. The grilled beef was a must try for me, because Wing Sik was going to launch grilled thinly sliced beef, but it never came out. There could be a connection between Dalat and Wing Sik because the grilled meat tastes similar. For the grilled chicken, it tasted 80% like WingSik's chicken, except the there was less MSG and the skin was less fatty and greasy. There was a hint of smoke/grilled aroma on the chicken. It feels like a lighter version of Wing Sik with a hint of lemon grass, bits of lemon grass could be seen on the chicken. As for the beef, it was kind of how I expected it to be, it was thinly sliced,...

I would say though that barbecued items are better, they have that flame charred taste and that's what really makes the place great. Only reason i go for 4 stars and not 5 is that i've had their beef brisket as well, which was a slight let down, still tasty but the meat had a lot of chewy tendons (which some enjoy). if you stick with their grilled meats though, you can't go wrong here (really big...
