Pici, a renowned Italian handmade pasta restaurant in Wanchai, Hong Kong, has gained a reputation for its delectable dishes and warm ambiance. Having visited all nine branches since 2018, I can confidently say that Pici is a must-visit for any pasta enthusiast. From the moment you step foot inside, you are greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and a staff that goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. One of the standout dishes at Pici is their truffle pasta. This exquisite creation is a true delight for the senses. The aroma of truffle wafts through the air as the perfectly cooked pasta is combined with a rich and creamy truffle-infused sauce. Each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors that will leave you craving for more. It comes as no surprise that this dish has become a favorite among many patrons, myself included. Another highlight of Pici is their tiramisu, which I believe is the best in town. The velvety mascarpone cream, delicately layered with espresso-soaked ladyfingers, creates a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. The balance of sweetness and bitterness is just right, ensuring a satisfying end to your meal. It's a dessert that showcases the skill and finesse of the restaurant's talented pastry chef. In addition to the exceptional food, the manager, Arsula, adds a personal touch to the dining experience. Her warm and friendly demeanor creates a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and appreciated. Her attention to detail ensures that everything runs smoothly, and she is always ready to accommodate any special requests or dietary preferences. Arsula's dedication to customer service is commendable and contributes to the overall enjoyment of dining at Pici. Pici is also an excellent choice for special occasions. When my sister's birthday was celebrated there, the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable event. From personalized decorations to a complimentary dessert, every detail was carefully considered. The attentive service and the joyful ambiance made for a truly unforgettable evening. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Pici to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Italian dining experience. The truffle pasta and tiramisu are standout dishes that will leave you craving more, and the warm welcome you receive from Manager Arsula and her team adds a personal touch to your visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving outstanding handmade pasta, Pici is the place to go. With its nine branches across Hong Kong, you can easily find a location near you to indulge in their culinary delights.

Never get tired of their pasta 😌🤌🏼 Simple, authentic and on point - No wonder Pici just opened a new store at Causeway Bay, summing up to 8 branches in HK in such 5 years, probably its most successful brand under Pirata Group! I’ve eaten Pici for more than 20+ times, from brunch, lunch, dinner to takeaways, it’s been my go-to options for friends gathering, date night, or any occasions you could think of. We just seem like never get enough of Pici, homemade pasta is simple and straight to the point, could be a quick fix to your carbs or pasta cravings 🍝😋 We were kinda hungry and decided to opt for the tasting menu for that visit. Priced at $290 person, where you can get 2 starters, 3 pastas and 2 desserts for 2 people, be sure to prepare an empty stomach before coming! 🤪 [Starter] Vitello Tonnato - Veal tuna mayonnaise, Sicilian capers ➡️ First time ordering this, taste OK 🤓 [Starter] Tuna Tartare - Avocado, pickled red onions, house dressing ➡️ Fresh and yum! [Pasta] Orecchiette ‘Nduja - Italian sausage, spicy ‘nduja, cherry tomato ➡️ 💯 texture, the hit of the chili sauce, must have for every visit 😀 [Pasta] Black Ravioli Smoked Salmon - Squid ink infused, Japanese egg yolk, salmon caviar, lemon thyme butter 🌟New dishes! Am a big fan of their ravioli carbonara and now this has been taken to another level with the burst of egg yolk and the freshness and salinity from smoked salmon 🤭 [Pasta] Pappardelle Beef Cheek - Beef cheek ragu slow cooked for 8 hours, onion, carrit, celery ➡️ Slightly overcooked this time but still yum! [Dessert] Tiramisu [Dessert] Panna Cotta 🏷 IG: Misssommhk

I recently visited the Wanchai branch of Pici on Christmas Eve, eagerly anticipating a delightful dining experience and a chance to celebrate the festive season. Having previously enjoyed their pasta dishes, particularly the sea urchin cavetella, my expectations were high. While the service and introduction to their Christmas menu were satisfactory, I am disappointed to say that the highlight of the evening, the Santa Claus visit, left much to be desired. As my party patiently awaited our turn to meet Santa Claus and receive the Christmas sock souvenir, we watched as he made his way from table to table, bringing joy and excitement to each guest. However, to our dismay, Santa Claus abruptly disappeared, making his way to the second floor and failing to return. This was disheartening, especially considering the anticipation we had built up during our wait. Seeking an explanation, we approached our server, who informed us that Santa may have missed our table. While I understand that managing such a festive event can be challenging, it is disappointing that our absence was not recognized, as there were no socks on our table to indicate our participation. It is disheartening to witness the joyous interactions between Santa Claus and other diners while feeling left out of the experience ourselves. Overall, this oversight dampened our Christmas Eve celebration at Pici. I believe that attention to detail and ensuring the inclusion of all patrons, especially during special occasions, is crucial for providing a truly memorable dining experience. Regrettably, this experience fell short of our expectations. Despite this disappointment, I must acknowledge the enjoyable dishes we savored during our meal, particularly the sea urchin cavetella, which was a standout in terms of flavor and presentation. However, it is essential for a restaurant to deliver on all aspects of the dining experience, including special events like Santa Claus visits, to leave a lasting positive impression on its customers. In conclusion, I hope that Pici takes this feedback constructively and strives for improvement in managing similar festive events in the future. Attention to detail, effective communication, and equal treatment of all patrons are key to creating truly memorable experiences that match the quality of their delectable dishes.

Went to this resto for company lunch and we all got the Weekday Lunch Set, which included 1 Starter, 1 Pasta and 1 Dessert. . For starter, I got Westholme Wagyu Beef Tongue. Topped with salsa verde and pearl onions, it was thinly sliced. It tasted a bit plain though, as the flavour of the salsa verde didn't blend into the ox tongue much. My colleague got Burrata Cheese. The cheese was huge and milky, and the cherry tomatoes and rocket leaves made the dish refreshing and not heavy to have. For pasta, I had Chitarra Prawns. Covered with lots of bisque, my squid pasta was quite wet with cherry tomatoes. The prawns were scattered into really tiny pieces, making it not that mouthful. My colleagues got Tagliolini Truffle, Lasagna Classica and Pappardelle Pork Ragu. For the Tagliolini Truffle, with the shaved black truffle on top and soaked in white truffle paste, the spaghetti smelled fragrant. Not sure for the Lasagna Classica, but my colleague thought it was mediocre. I did try the Pappardelle Pork Ragu though. The nduja, guanciale and red wine combined subtly. The greasiness of the guanciale was moderated by the sweetness of the red wine. For dessert, we got Tiramisu. Served with a generous amount of mascarpone cream, the tiramisu got lady finger in the interior soaked with espresso. It was truly creamy, but the sweetness seemed a bit overwhelming. . Rather friendly price for a decent Western restaurant lunch set. . The resto had two-storey, and the upper storey could receive more number of guests, as it was more spacious than the lower storey.

This restaurant has been gaining quite a bit of attention recently. And for good reason too, since you can enjoy homemade pasta at a reasonable price. I heard about this restaurant back in March, and was finally able to visit during my business trip in April. The restaurant is apparently quite popular, but personally, I didn't think it was all that great. The first time I dined there, I can't say that I enjoyed my meal, so I went back a second time just to make sure. But my impression is still unchanged. The pasta is homemade, as they say, but it is not made by an experienced chef. I felt that both the consistency and flavor were lacking a key something. Perhaps, they should think more about the leavening time or kneading process of the dough. I think "pasta that is shaped like homemade pasta" is a more fitting description. They slice the prociutto right at the counter, but I can't say that it was done very skillfully. My overall impression was that they lacked precise skills in their meal preparation and presentation. The lasagna was especially salty, and I was unable to eat more than one bit of it. When I asked the manager about this, I was told that this is the authentic flavor. Perhaps for Western people, this is acceptable. The meatballs were decently good. Maybe it's a good deal when you think about the price and restaurant envrionment...

Had lunch at PIci, nice location, tucked away from the main streets in Wanchai, in a back alley of the residential areas behind Pacific Place 3, ambience and decor including the outdoor alfresco setup were very nice. That's just about the only upside. Greeted initially by a sour faced restaurant manager, the waitress who served us was a little better, food was overly priced, not only because the portions were small but the menu was relatively ordinary. For example, slim ribbon pasta with al funghi sauce was jacked up in price because they garnished it with thin slices of black truffles, completely unnecessary. Service was fantastically slow, any slower they would have been able to turn back the clock, it is not ideal for lunch. The radicchio salad was horribly salty and inedible. The only saving grace was the dessert, it was either berry panacotta or tira misu. Both were nice enough. Overall, the former chef of Pirata didn't do himself justice for the presentation, the homemade pasta or the food in general. I was looking forward to lunch that day but I returned disappointed.
