Do not ever go to this place if you are just a regular customer and not their VIP.
Having been a fair share of restaurants including Michelin star restaurants in the city, this is the most humiliated I've ever felt dining in Hong Kong.
The two of us ordered a chicken hotpot and a bunch of hot pot food, we sat there in the cold for more than an hour and still no food whatsoever. All the customers who arrived AFTER us got their food and still nothing for us. We ended up leaving the place without eating anything because if we waited any longer, we'd be giving them permission to humiliate us further.
During that one hour waiting in the cold at our table, we asked once about our food. The waitress dismissed us by saying "the chicken hot pot you ordered would need 15 minutes". But at the time of asking, we'd already been waiting for more than 30 minutes - and the waitress herself was the one who put in the order for us when we first sat down.
And when we decided to leave the restaurant, none of these staff seemed concerned at all and no apologies whatsoever. This is by far the WORST restaurant I've...
Read moreBest hotpot I’ve been to so far! Decor was nice, done in the old Hong Kong style (complete with the neon lights/signs). Soup base was spicy enough to burn the throat but seasoned in a way that it didn’t burn the tongue, for which we were grateful for. The resto gave each of us a cute red bib to wear while cooking and eating to keep our clothes clean. The meat cuts were very fresh and juicy. The shrimp balls were probably the only “needs improvement” dish we ordered, but given the quality of their other offerings, I think this restaurant does deserve 5 stars for food. Our only big disappointment was that we didn’t get to dine outdoors as we’d hoped to be able to admire the view and enjoy the fresh air but we were impressed by their ventilation system (air inside was constantly being exchanged with air outside as evinced by the low CO2 level). Altogether, a very nice dining experience. Price was fair—not too cheap and not...
Read moreRecently, I visited a hotpot restaurant located in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The restaurant had a unique decor that perfectly captured the essence of Hong Kong. The hygiene conditions were top-notch, and I felt comfortable dining there.
The hotpot was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the beef. The meat was fresh, tender, and flavorful, which made for a great dining experience. The broth was also well-seasoned and complemented the ingredients well.
Overall, I had a fantastic time at this hotpot restaurant. The combination of great food, unique decor, and excellent hygiene made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great hotpot in...
