At this price point, food quality was barely OK, but service was just unacceptable, awful, ridiculously horrible. I am not the only one saying this (see other comments). I simply don't think it was just my bad luck.....

  1. The staff forgot what you had ordered, especially the additinonal ones like another bowl of rice, and other drink or another appetitizer dish.

  2. whenever they served a dish, they just dropped it on whatever empty space on the table and then walked away.

  3. we ordered Galbi (long piece of beef attached to a bone). After serving the raw meat on table, it took them at least 10 mins to remember to bring the scissors and cut the meat for us.

  4. I nearly needed to yell otherwise no one would see me raising my hand.

  5. The staff was so busy with cleaning up tables where there were no other customers queuing up. In the other words they didnt care about those customers (eg me) sitting there because they're here and would pay anyway. They just care about when they could finish cleaning and go home.

  6. I asked for the menu to order dessert, and the stuff walked away, cleaned up another table, pushed a trolley back to kitchen, and then grabbed the menu from the service station and brought it to me.

The raw beef (with raw egg and pear) and the mango ice (dessert) were great. These two earned the two stars I rated here.

I suspect that they have loyal Korean customers (to whom the staff might "prioritise" their services). Otherwise it is beyond imagination a restaurant charging that much with this kind of service would have any...

This is in a previously hidden street behind Times Square. Now there is a wide variety of choices here. Kaya's food taste is disappointed as to lunch. However, it is quite a comfortable place to dine in. The price is unamazing competitive. The lunch set can go as low as 70. If u go for food, dont come, if u go for just fill up stomach and have a good chat with friends. Do come. Staffs are friendly. In HK, here used to have great korean restaurant, now is getting very tough to survive due to its inherent required dinning place setting, i.e. A very large table require so as to accomdate the griller sitting on the table. The consequence is that it limits the number of tables and it lacks flexibility in serving customers not coming that match...

The service of this restaurant is really terrible. The food quality is not bad though, and that’s why we had been here twice in the last two months. From the manager to the waiters - everyone was extremely slow at both times. We waited at the reception desk for 8 minutes before being taken to our table. We then waited for another 15 minutes before someone came to take our orders. No one came to refill our cups for tea or orders for additional drinks and food. Obviously no one came to clean the table or take away the empty plates. It took us another 15 minutes before getting our check. And we got reprimanded by the manager for chasing them up.

If you don’t mind waiting, or being yelled at, do come here for a...

Similar to many other restaurants in town, portions are becoming smaller in size, especially for dinner. As for lunch, they do offer lunch set menu with a lot of options and in varies price points. During the winter time, my go-to-order is the bibimbap as I love the crunchy texture along with the right amount of spiciness. In summer time, I highly recommend their cold home-made buckwheat noodles as it has a super refreshing broth that is both salty and sour.

One of better known & popular Korean chain restaurants in HK. It’s way less impressive than many Korean BBQ restaurants in Seoul. However the Jeju belly pork was superb with impressive meat flavours & texture, then followed by Jeju sirloin steak. A common issue with other Korean restaurants in HK does exist: far from ideal service intensity & quality. Like almost all Korean restaurants in HK, dishes are quite overpriced.
