Finally made my way to this Korean chicken haven in Causeway Bay, and I'm already planning my next visit! The restaurant has a modern vibe, with their signature logo visible on the menu materials on the table.
Let's talk about that Garlic Soy Sauce Baked Chicken (HK$158) - absolute perfection! The chicken pieces are generously sized and glistening with that beautiful caramelized coating. What sets this apart is that it's oven-baked, not fried, yet achieves an incredible crispy exterior while maintaining ridiculously juicy meat inside. The fresh parsley garnish isn't just for show - it adds a nice herbal contrast to the rich, savory garlic soy glaze. You can actually see the sauce pooling on the stylish black plate - perfect for that last-minute dip!
The Chicago Pizza (HK$168) is a showstopper! The cheese pull is Instagram-worthy - stretching for days with that perfect blend of mozzarella and cheddar. The crust is beautifully golden and crispy around the edges, and they're not stingy with the toppings. The combination of meat and cheese creates this indulgent, gooey masterpiece that's worth every calorie.
Pro tips: The portions are generous - good for sharing Order water early (you'll need it with the flavor-packed dishes) The pizza is enough for 2-3 people Come during off-peak hours to avoid queues
Verdict: A solid addition to Hong Kong's Korean food scene. The non-fried chicken concept sets them apart, and the quality speaks for itself. While not the cheapest Korean chicken in town, the portions and quality justify the price point.

Read moreRecently, I dined at Goobne in Causeway Bay, and I must say, the overall experience left me quite disappointed.
We were seated at 7:06 PM, and the staff informed us that there was a 90-minute dining limit. This initially made me feel a bit pressured, but the anticipation of good food kept me going. We placed our order at 7:09 PM, choosing the fish cake soup and half-and-half fried chicken. However, the food didn’t arrive until 7:50 PM. During this time, I had to prompt them twice, and we had to ask for water as well, which indicated that the service was not ideal.
When the fish cake soup finally arrived, I expected it to be particularly delicious after being cooked for 41 minutes. However, it was rather disappointing. The soup's flavor was ordinary, and even the thin slices of radish seemed undercooked and were quite hard to eat, leaving me with a sense of letdown. As for the fried chicken, while the outer skin was crispy, the meat inside was quite thin and only marginally enjoyable.
In summary, this dining experience felt like the waiting time surpassed the actual time spent eating. Both the food and service were below my expectations. Moving forward, I may not visit Goobne again. I hope they can improve the quality of their food and service to provide a better dining experience for...
Read moreCame for dinner and tried to call few times for reservation and got no response, when arrived was asked if I had a reservation and when seated they put us in the back corner table in an empty section, the view was nice but the entire table was sticky like can hear it like Velcro opening when they removed the menu the staff who took the menu went back and we could hear them laughing about it from the section we were at, we can tell it’s the staff as we were there with maybe 4-5 other tables at the time no mention of a 90 minute table return, as our food arrived after a long wait nearly 45 mins They started telling us we had last order already and rushing us out of an empty restaurant. Staff were non verbal even when speaking in Cantonese or English, inattentive service
I had high expectation as I’ve seen and heard a lot of good things from this restaurant and been wanting to try for a few years, and as a first experience was ruined, probably if I do Go back won’t be in CWB as it seems the staff are all kids or teenagers which minimal experience or even basic care for the shop or their jobs ignoring so many issues with the...
