Where should I even begin? As a party of four, we each ordered a glass of the house white wine. Before we had even finished our first glasses, we decided to order another bottle of white, a completely different grape variety this time. When the waitress arrived with the new bottle, she refused to let us taste it first, even though we specifically asked to. Instead, she just poured a large portion of wine into a single clear glass she had brought. Keep in mind, there were four of us. Then, she proceeded to pour this new wine into our existing, unfinished glasses of house white, without any apology. Later, one of my friends asked a different waitress how many pieces were in a particular starter. She replied that she didn't know because she was new and would have to ask. After she finally took our order, the dishes arrived in a chaotic sequence: the lasagna came first, then the carbonara 10 minutes later, and then, after another 30 minutes, the pasta and their signature ALONZO CHICKEN PARMIGIANA finally arrived. By this point, two of my friends had already finished their meals. Most importantly, their signature Alonzo Chicken Parmigiana was still RAW! How is it even possible for food to remain raw after a 30-minute wait? Another waiter came to collect the plate, stating he would take it back to the kitchen to "see what happens." He returned with no explanation and no apology, simply asking if I wanted to change my order to something else and said the chicken will be removed from our bill. It was clear that the staff, both on the floor and in the kitchen, were inexperienced and unprofessional. It was truly a night where everything that could go...

Amazing carbonara with really crispy Roman Guanciale

They have a number of branches all over Hong Kong. We picked this one on Bridges Street, further down the lane from PMQ. Got a relaxed weekend vibe even during a Monday lunchtime.

While it’s really quite far away from the busy areas, to our surprise, it’s still pretty filled. It’s a value-for-money meal, a 3-course lunch, which also includes a standard drink, for only $148 + 10%. Unbeatable price. I like their staff, who gave you the attention at the right time and even observed the pace of how you finish the current course to adjust the time to present the next one.

It’s a nice start from the bread to cold cuts platter to the salad.

The mains, the Alonzo’s Carbonara (supplement $10) was amazing! The spaghetti in creamy egg sauce paired with the really, really, crispy Roman Guanciale didn’t make you satiated. It’s the Guanciale that worked the magic, enhancing the carbonara’s taste! The spaghetti Alle Vongole in a white wine broth was a good alternative.

The signature tiramisu was also yummy. The only thing that I could pick on was the holes on the side of the tiramisu. It would be better if they...

The worst Italian place I've been to Hong Kong! Idk if it's because I haven't been in Hong Kong for quite a few years or maybe my standards have changed, but I had an absolutely disheartening experience at this establishment.

Service was slow, servers were dismissive. It was practically empty but it took them over half an hour to even give us bread, which were four slices of bread that were smaller than the palm of my hand. Despite being quiet, servers often walk past our table and ignoring our empty plates despite making eye contact everytime they walk past.

Worst part is the food. The carbonara was SWIMMING IN GREASE! Sauce was literally a big pool of oil with scrambled eggs. It is a rookie mistake for carbonara to have scrambled eggs. Complained to the waitress twice and she blamed it on the pancetta. I've had carbonara in multiple countries in various establishments and I have never had carbonara be presented that way.

Asked to take the 10% service charge off the bill but they refused. Would never go to this stupid excuse of an Italian...
