I visited a shop on a sweltering summer day, and the air conditioning was so effective it felt like summer had vanished. The Japanese-style decor created a serene atmosphere. I ordered a Japanese Deep Fried Chicken Sandwich and was served iced water, a nod to Japanese culture that was refreshing in the heat.
To my slight disappointment, the sandwich portion was smaller than I had anticipated. However, the chicken itself was an absolute revelation. It was expertly marinated and the meat was incredibly juicy and tender, making every bite a delight. Read moreWalking pass BakeOut a number of times, and I was always attracted to the menu outside it. The sandwiches look so good and the price is reasonable. Also, there are quite a number of sandwich choices, I actually had to spend quite some time reading all the available choices and decided on getting a Japanese Style Deep-Fried Chicken one to try.

Food always comes out piping hot and the hotdog buns are soft, airy, and just the right amount of toasty and sweet. Their weekday lunch deals are insane value and offer something for those who don’t necessarily want to have bread. My personal favourites are the scrambled egg hotdogs; silky, dreamy curds perfect for all day breakfast and not too heavy.
Definitely unbeatable in the area, maybe in HK… but beware, it’s standing room at the bar only if you...
