I visited a shop on a sweltering summer day, and the air conditioning was so effective it felt like summer had vanished. The Japanese-style decor created a serene atmosphere. I ordered a Japanese Deep Fried Chicken Sandwich and was served iced water, a nod to Japanese culture that was refreshing in the heat.

To my slight disappointment, the sandwich portion was smaller than I had anticipated. However, the chicken itself was an absolute revelation. It was expertly marinated and the meat was incredibly juicy and tender, making every bite a delight. Unfortunately, the salad dressing didn’t leave much of an impression, lacking the vibrancy to match the rest of the dish. The bread and cabbage were decent but didn’t stand out as particularly memorable.

Ratings: • Chicken: 9/10 (exceptional flavor and texture) • Bread and cabbage: 6/10 (satisfactory but unremarkable) • Ambiance: 8/10 (peaceful and...

Walking pass BakeOut a number of times, and I was always attracted to the menu outside it. The sandwiches look so good and the price is reasonable. Also, there are quite a number of sandwich choices, I actually had to spend quite some time reading all the available choices and decided on getting a Japanese Style Deep-Fried Chicken one to try.

The set also came with a can of coca-cola which was not shown in the picture. The thick fries were absolutely fantastic as they were freshly fried! The sandwich itself was awesome too! Bread was really fluffy and delicious, and the deep-fried chicken tasted a bit like teriyaki chicken though, in a good way. I was so full and satisfied after finishing everything in the set, and was thinking about which sandwich to try for...

Hidden gem. Consistently affordable, fresh and delicious Japanese style hot dogs and rotating snacks. Food always comes out piping hot and the hotdog buns are soft, airy, and just the right amount of toasty and sweet. Their weekday lunch deals are insane value and offer something for those who don’t necessarily want to have bread. My personal favourites are the scrambled egg hotdogs; silky, dreamy curds perfect for all day breakfast and not too heavy.

Definitely unbeatable in the area, maybe in HK… but beware, it’s standing room at the bar only if you...

Small shop with limited seats. The hotdog bread is extraordinary good 👍🏻. We ordered the S3 melted cheese spicy sauce hotdog. The chilli is so good with the sauce and as a whole. Another one is peanut butter n condensed milk hotdog. The hotdog bread is extraordinary good 👍🏼. Freshly made n crispy outside yet soft inside. Lime soda is better for sugar free that makes us feel fresh with the hotdog. We r the only customer during afternoon tea time that makes us feel very cozy. Yet many orders for picking up. Can be a good place for a cozy afternoon.
