Fairwood — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Another of those chain fast-food shops, sort of a competitor to Café de Coral. Foodwise it serves a great range of meals during breakfast, lunch, tea times and then dinners. The purpose of these restaurants is to serve the meals as fast as possible, customers eat as quickly as possible, and more customers can take their place and so on. Prices for a meal is stuck around $45 dollars including a drink, which could be tea, coffee, soft drinks etc.. The prices at Fairwood hasnt changed much since inflation hasn't actually attacked the average food basket all that much in Hong Kong. Like it's major competitor, food from Fairwood is fairly edible, nothing all that special, its homely, conventional, convenient and above all filling. Most times if you pay another $30 dollars more, or HK$75 per meal, you are helping to create a grander, more formal restaurant level meal, which is supposedly expected if you are willing to pay this much more. No comments on food for chain restaurant. This is a busy fast food restaurant during lunch, mixed with students and office workers around this area, not easy to find a seat even come here alone. As our toddler only eats eggs and toast for breakfast we were very happy to find this place. The menu selection was great and the menu varies during the day and from day to day.
