first taste soup — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

As well as having a good hotpot, I was impressed that this place puts safety first. The electric stoves are not plugged until the customer arrives so that people won't accidentally get burnt if they put their hands on it. They use ceramic pots instead of metal because it is also for safety as you won't burn yourself if you touch the sides. Only the bottom is hot.

Anyway, started off with the fruit tea which was fruity without being too sweet. Since this place specializes in soup, tried the soup which was nourishing and not that oily. For the hotpot broth, had the coconut chicken which comes with bamboo piths and other goodies. It was really good that they told us what was included in the pot so we didn't order double. The best item for me was the Kale because not many places have it as an option for hotpot and when Kale is cooked, the texture is soft and the frilly edges of the kale hangs more broth to it. The crispy fish skins were tasty without any rancidness so I had it with rice which was so good and filling as I have to have rice/noodles or I won't be full. 今次約左幾個朋友食飯聚下，就揀左一間火鍋店食，諗住可以慢慢食傾計耐左都唔怕，平時我揀去邊就多，今次就下fd子，過黎港島食就揀左呢間頭啖湯啦🥣

呢間餐廳個老闆對食物有好高要求，見佢餐牌既海鮮大部分都寫時價，我覺得有d出奇，原來佢地既海鮮係即日去攞貨，我地訂座留左電話，佢當日會send個海鮮既價錢問我地想食咩海鮮，而去搵最新鮮既海鮮比客人，真係以客為先👏🏻👏🏻

招牌椰子雞煲（半隻）（$178） 椰子雞煲半隻都幾多雞件，佢個湯底好好飲，非常清甜，而且連加湯都係加椰子湯，唔係加雞湯或者滾水，頭啖湯既湯底果然係掂🥥

竹蟶子（時價）（$128） 個竹蟶子真係新鮮，上枱既時候仲係識郁，好鮮甜既味道，黎訂位真係值得叫海鮮🌊

手切安格斯雪花牛肉（大）（$258） 手切肥牛都好靚，脂肪分佈均勻，食落好有牛味🐮

西班牙黑豚肉（$108） 豚肉片唔會過肥，咬落肉質幾彈牙

響鈴卷（$38） 響鈴卷最緊要就係唔好淋左，而佢係脆既，所以唔錯👍🏻

炸午餐肉（$42） 呢度既午餐肉有炸同唔炸既揀，炸午餐肉係即炸脆卜卜，就咁食或者放湯都一樣好味🐷

嫩鴨血（$38） 鴨血冇乜腥味，同埋口感幾滑🩸

新鮮肥鵝腸（$68） 鵝腸老闆話淥佢10秒就食得，大大份，食落口感彈牙😋

台式豆腐紙（$28） 呢個豆腐紙我都未見過，但係見佢係店主推介就試下，佢係放湯好快攞上黎就食，仲快過響鈴，吸左d湯就食得，口感比較滑，我覺得新奇又好食😍

韮菜餃（$38） 韮菜餃塊皮算簿，幾好🥟

豬骨濃汁貢丸（$48） 呢個貢丸有d肉汁係入面，係口度流汁出黎好正，最緊要睇住熱🤣

綜合水果茶（$48） 個水果茶幾有型，用個量杯裝，好香甜既水果味，夠曬清新🍹

香橙茉莉茶（$38） 呢個香橙茉莉茶感覺一樣咁清新，佢就冇其他水果咁酸酸甜甜，就係有橙既甜🍊
