LIVE SLUG IN MY BURGER!!!
Throwback to lunch on September 21st. I am a frequent customer of NOC; but that day, NOC well and truly FAILED me! It was my Nth time ordering from them so imagine the SHOCK AND DISGUST when I found a LIVE SLUG in my burger!!! Don't ask me why I was eating the burger with a fork and knife BUT I'M GLAD I DID! If I didn't have the time of the day to dissect this burger, I won't have noticed this LIVE SLUG trying to slither out of its lettuce burrito!
I was appalled and could not believe it was happening so I made sure to observe the situation for a while - because I still HAD FAITH IN NOC!!! Sadly, it was a LIVE SLUG, hidden away in a burger, supposedly ready to be consumed by an unsuspecting customer. I spent the whole afternoon puking my guts out.
NOC, please DO BETTER - you're handling food and this incident is really less than savory. The slug and I can both exist, JUST NOT IN THAT SITUATION! I don't know how I can recover from this without having to triple check my food ever again. NOC, you truly have destroyed my dining experience AND my trust in you.
And this, is my story on how I fell out of...

My only issue is the person who man's the door. This individual always chooses to be mindless and prefers to refuse entry to people rather than use their brain to figure out solutions.
HK currently has social restrictions, yes. 4 per table, yes. There was another two at the table with a divider in between the two groups.
My infant is in a stroller, is my infant sitting at the table? Technically no.
Most common sense approaches would probably say, stuff it - you guys are a party of 2, and the baby is not on the table so go ahead.
Not this genius. This person asked us to sit at a high table with our child in the stroller beyond arm's reach. Not a deal breaker, just annoying.
Luckily for us, this door-person's colleague had the sense to correct them and allowed us to sit at the regular table.
...thank you colleague. No thank you to other 'genius'...

If you can look past the robotic, miserable staff that only give monotone ‘bye bye’ and forgive them for the frequently overcooked bacon and undercooked anemic sausages you will be ok. The coffee is decent. Pricing is on the high side for the total experience.
Original review What a great addition to an upcoming area. I think one of the largest NOCs in HK, recently opened. Spacious, bright, clean interior. Helpful, polite staff and great coffee! Had the all day breakfast which was beyond expectations in terms of size and taste. The cheesy potato thingymajig that it comes with was amazing. Thick cut bacon, large portobello mushroom, cherry tomatoes on the branch. And perfect scrambled eggs. Looking forward to frequent this place more often and likely to trump Pumpernickel as my...
