SìpSip Rooftop Bar — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

What started out as a lovely evening watching the sunset with a drink turned sour when a loud obnoxious woman showed up and declared “a big group” would be joining her. Soon after, another man showed up and the pair bizarrely started decorating the bar area with their own decorations and loudly using a balloon blow-up machine to blow up balloons. The rooftop is very small and this noise was so loud I couldn’t even hear the music anymore and it completely ruined the vibe. I turned around to make them aware they were being loud and the woman shouted at me “well it’s about to get a whole lot louder, so if you don’t like it, you know what to do!” This is completely inappropriate and I have never been spoken to in such an aggressive manner by another person when in fact, they were in the wrong as they had not privately hired the bar, they simply just showed up and completely took over a public space. Then the staff decided to start moving al the table and chairs around to accommodate this last minute large group, further ruining the atmosphere. The staff then said I had to move as they needed my table, which I thought was completely rude and inappropriate to make all the other paying customers move to accommodate this rude, obnoxious woman and her friends! This is a very small rooftop and large groups really shouldn’t be allowed to take over! My night was completely ruined and I felt so uncomfortable that I decided to leave! Would not...

Sipsip rooftop with awesome view and snacks, but their service can be improved. Came sip sip on weekdays in the evening, and chose an outdoor table on the roof. Evening is the best time to visit as you can enjoy the view of both day and night. If you come here during nice weather, the view is unbeatable. Ordered couple of snacks and drinks, and the snacks were freshly made with great quality. However, the ordering is complicated, you will need to register an account, the order the food. Their website is actually an e-commerce website rather than for catering.
