Food. 👨🍳👩🍳
The food was superb 👌, very good quality and authentic dim sum. Highly recommended.
Service 🗣
Terrible, after we got seated no one came back to ask which tea we want. Then when we asked a question about the menu in Cantonese, they guy talked to us, but then just walked away 🤦♂️. Same guy then walked around and bumped into the my daughter's high chair, thought there is plenty of space to walk around, literally can fit a car there behind the chair. He said right away I'm sorry etc, so I was fine. Then same happened again with another male staff with a tie. While he said sorry in a very rude manner , looks like I'm bothering him. And tried to pull that he doesn't speak English, thought I speak some cantonese and my wife is local, the service was unacceptable and very rude.
Kid friendliness 👨👩👦👨👩👧
They have high chairs from IKEA, but that's it.
Toilet 🚻 The ceiling very low, if you are over 180-185cm you need to crunch. The design is very dark, which is very different in contrast from a bright dining area. Thought the design is more of a custom, but maintenance is terrible, everything is wet, urinals dirty. Not a pleasant experience in comparison to the dining area, clean a tidy in general.

Read moreUpdated Feb 2023 They changed location and whole brand image and menu. Dim sum is now a fusion of old and new, less choice of dim sum then it used to, but will be a good place for family gathering with food that fits all generation. Definitely less tasty then before. Traditional Chicken liver and pork rolls (金錢雞) and soup dumplings (灌湯饺)has downgraded drastically. Especially disappointed by the liver roll which was served in cut out western white sliced bread. But if you havent had a taste of how good it used to taate before then i suppose it will be good enough as an average standard.
Service- average, they have upgraded the place but service has not changed, still rushing to clear your table while the place was not full. When we revisit at tea time, the waitress politely asked if we wanted to place order with tea time discount. when we asked what is the difference, weather there is additional tea set menu, they know nothing and cannot even tell us the discount. All we knew was it is same...
Read moreI was there on Sunday evening with my family and two infants. I was a bit surprised when I walked into the restaurant as there were completely empty at 6:15pm! However we got in and try to get a table and we were ignored. I then noticed a guy seemed to be a manager and asked him for table. He then shouted at us in a military style tone “sit down there !” . We were shocked, however we just went to that table he pointed and I asked if we could a baby seat, then he streamed “ all of you sit down !”.
I then told him that we were there for dinner but not to receive such attitude and humiliations. He then really went off and put his name card out and “bang” on the table and he said you go and complain me then. I then felt really enough and my kids were feeling very scary and cried. We just stand and walk out, when we reached the entrance, one waitress spoke quietly and I heard “ he lost money in today’s horse racing day”!
I think this is a real shame for this very old and famous Chinese...
