My sister and I enjoyed a relaxing and delightful afternoon having Italian fine dining at Giacomo Ristorant at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Causeway Bay, this afternoon.
The restaurant was well decorated, looking high class and comfortable.
The appetizers were excellent. The artichokes soup with Burrata Cheese and basil was full of flavour and smooth. We enjoyed the soup and bread basket very much. The white asparagus was tender and sweet, pairing well with the quality Pata Negra Ham and egg emulsion.
For main dish, tooth fish with spring vegetables and clam jus was a healthy delicacy. It was delicious and melted in the mouth.
For pasta, the homemade fettucine with Pata Negra Ham, Datterina Tomato and Burrata Cheese Fondue was super delicious. It was aromatic, authentic and rich in taste, showcasing the skill of the chef to make simple dishes shine.
For dessert, Melon was so refreshing and delicious. This dessert with Italian and Japanese melon, oatmeal crumble, yoghurt and melon sorbet was satisfying and healthy. Cheese selection with homemade compote was highly recommended. We especially enjoyed the compote and rich blue cheese. The mini lemon tart was also a delight to savour.

Feeling exhausted from work, I decided to reward myself with a nice fine dining lunch. Giacomo Ristorante is an Italian fine dining restaurant in Hong Kong. There is only one branch in Hong Kong, which is this one in Causeway Bay. I’m really lucky to work at Causeway Bay so that I can have the time to enjoy the lunch here.
3 Courses Lunch Set $550
Roasted Scallop It is served with Pata Negra Ham and Fennel Emulsion. The ham on top has a rich, nutty, deep and aromatic flavour. Meanwhile, the scallop has a delicate and slightly sweet flavour. The tastes of the ham and the scallop resonate in the mouth. I did not expect they can be such a perfect match but they really did!
Homemade Fettuccine It is served with fresh morel mushroom and green herbs. Morel mushrooms are quite rarely seen and I’m glad that I could taste them here. The sauce is creamy and the homemade fettuccine has a nice, chewy texture. I love it!
Cheese Selection Three different types of cheese are served. I can’t really tell which one is my favourite coz I simply love all of them!

Itailan food always made me feeling comfort, so i decided to have dinner at Giacomo Ristorante after my crazy shopping in Causeway Bay. This restaurant decorated blue&grey tone created cozy atmosphere and the spacious setting here is prefect for having Italian meal.
Being cheese lover, that was no reason for me not choose Cheese Selection for my appetizer. The combination between those three different kinds of cheese were prefect, and i would say its absolutly a good start.
For my main, I ordered Mayura Beef Tenderlion and Red Prawn Spaghetti Chitarra as well. The Mayura Beef Tenderlion from the cow which feed with chocolate, it grilled as ordered and the meat was juicy and flavorful with silky smooth taste, really impressive!
The Red Prawn Spaghetti Chitarra was amazing and tantalizing, the spaghetti was chewy and mix well with luscious sauce, also the red prawn was so fresh and plump.
