We were treated so badly we ended up walking away from our reservation for a long anticipated lunch coming back from overseas. While the manager Ms Lisa Li was helpful, she couldn't help with the worst customer service we got from her staff Ms Cindy. We were not just being given the cold shoulder when there were only 2 tables of guests in the restaurant. We were ignored repeatedly by Ms Cindy who claimed to be very busy while we were just looking to be seated per our reservation. We were seated eventually by the manager but Ms Cindy continued her rude attitude by calling my friend crazy loudly, which could be heard from a distance and by all other guests. We were never rude nor even pushy. We came, we presented our reservation and we were ignored, repeatedly. When we were ignored, we asked again. And that was how we were treated. We will not likely return and it is such a shame. In a time when HK is trying to reinstate its superior position in being a tourism hub and food paradise, it could certainly do away with service personnel of this attitude. We are sad but felt it important to...

Brought my friend from Taiwan to try out the authentic Cantonese cuisine at 御寶軒. An absolutely satisfaction to us. Especially the suckling pig stuffed with glutinous rice. The suckling pig was super crispy and crunchy! Sticky rice was flavourful and chewy. Highly recommend to preorder before you go.
And we ordered lava custard bun as our dessert. THIS IS SUCH A HIDDEN GEM. The bun was steamy hot, freshly steamed and presented to us. The custard was silky smooth, melted in my mouth. The middle part is the lava salted egg-yolk filling, the savoury flavour combines with the sweet flavour of the custard. Perfect dessert to...
Read moreThe biggest problem is me getting a mild diarrhea after dinner! Otherwise: Great scenery. Food is good, but it is not Michelin star quality. Tastes similar to any regular Chinese restaurants you would find in most of hong kong, including tseung kwan o or even kwai chung, except ingredients are better but portion sizes are smaller. Isn't as expensive as you would expect from Michelin one star restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui. I think even some Chinese restaurants in Tai Po could be more expensive. But that's probably because we avoided ordering the expensive signature dishes and stuck to the 200-300 HKD dishes instead of the four...
