BHC Chicken (Causeway Bay) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Came here 3pm on a Sunday, super quiet. No server was around.

I don’t get why these fast food places get away with 10% service charge when you are ordering from the QR code…. I had to hunt the lady down to ask question on the menu.

Chicken was lightly battered, though there were some chunky bits. We got the half n half, massive for two people. The golden one was amazing. The sweet & spicy was good but I wouldn’t want that many. Couldn’t taste the golden one after the saucy one.

The tteokbokki Ramen was too sweet for my taste, but the ramen and rice cakes was perfectly cooked to a nice chewy texture. I liked that it had quail eggs too.

I would suggest to come here with a bigger group so you can share and try more.

Toilet had no hand soap and they charge extra for eating gloves. At least they can offer wet wipes for the 10%...

Cheese Flavor Fried Chicken

This is one of our favourite fried chicken place in HK. We always get the "Bburinkle" boneless fried chicken that is so addicting.

The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and so juicy inside. It's well coated with the cheese powder. You can also dip it in the cheese sauce for extra flavor.

If you are a cheese lover and you feel like having more cheese, do order the Bburing cheese stick. It's super satisfying!

Don't forget to order the creamy rose rabokki. It's loaded with toppings like fish cakes, sausages, and quail eggs. The ramen and tteokbokki are perfectly cooked.

For the drinks, we got a beer and also a peach soda....

🍗 Delicious Korean Lunch Set I went there yesterday during lunch with one of my colleagues. The restaurant is quite spacious and the lunch hours during weekdays are not that busy.

🔥 Crispy Fried Chicken: The highlight was undoubtedly the signature Korean fried chicken. We ordered the Bburinkle set. It was very crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and generously coated with their signature cheese powder. The set included seaweed butter rice, tteokbokki with fish cake slices, sweet potato fries, salad and a free drink. The portion size was generous, making it great value for money.
