This place is very close to Taikoo park and serves the Shanghai cuisine. We visited on Friday evening and luckily it was not too crowded. The ambience of the place was nice and the service quick. We were handed with menu on which we could mark the dishes as per our preferences. We were first served with Thai hot tea which was very refreshing. We started with a platter of appetizers consisting of marinated ham, beef shanks and tripe and chicken in spicy sauce. These cold appetizers were good especially the chicken in spicy sauce. We ordered for Shanghai steamed pork dumplings which were a melt in the mouth and a total recommend. We then had the poached sliced fish in Sichuan style followed by La mian (pulled noodles) with spice beef shank in soup. The poached fish was the highlight of the meal. The fish was delicious and the soup spicy but full of flavor. This dish is also a recommend for those who like spicy food. The pulled noodles were nice. We finished our dinner with Logan royal pear hot tea. Overall the food was very good and the price too seemed reasonable.

Cozy and casual Shanghai style Chinese restaurant in Central area. Full with businesspeople working in the area on weekdays. The price is reasonable but service level and speed is not so good. Great to visit with friends and colleagues. The place is rather small, so not so comfortable for family. Dumplings are particularly good, this is definitely must-to-order food in here.

The restaurant is not too big but seatings are cozy for small groups. It is rather crowded most of the time, so be prepare for some queueing time to get a table. Tasty Shanghaiese cuisine at reasonable price, quite a good variety of dishes to choose from. Service is at average level.

I recently had the displeasure of dining at this establishment and let me tell you, it was a nightmare. The customer service was beyond terrible. Not only did I find a small cockroach in my fried rice after eating half of it, but when I discreetly asked for it to be taken back and taken off my bill, I was met with an atrocious attitude from the staff.

Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they insisted that I pay for the dish, and that they would cook us a fresh one. Reluctantly, I agreed, only to find that they had simply recooked the same rice after removing the cockroach, as we found a cockroach leg after. To make matters worse, when I reported this to the supervisor, their attitude was even worse than before, and even the other staff members started being rude and talking loudly near our table.

This is not a cheap restaurant by any means, and it's shocking that they would treat their customers in such a way. It's clear that these staff members have no business working in the food or customer service industry. I would not recommend this...

This place has the best Shanghai soup dumplings I have ever had, bar none. But I go there almost exclusively for the chilli wantons... These are transcendent... I absolutely love them and contend they are the best in Hong Kong. The lian mi soup is also 5 star. This place is only restaurant visiting family and friends want to go to, and they often ask about it when they are planning their trips to HK. I am always happy to oblige them.

It is one of the places I do want to leave.

So like many places, they do not always serve the dishes at the same time, you will need some patience if you want the flavors to mix. This is by far the hardest part of the whole experience. But once all...
