McDonald's (Tung Lo Wan Road) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

This is the third MacDonald's in Causeway Bay district, situated in a building called Cathay Mansion. Surface area wise, it is the smallest of the three MacDonald's in Causeway Bay district. But it gets crowded all the same, the queue for the cashier is 6 or 7 persons long during lunchtimes just waiting to order! This branch is situated roughly opposite of St. Paul's Hospital. All MacDonald's serve the same food at least I am talking about Hong Kong's MacDonald's. Foods are essentially safe.

The current novelty is a beef hamburger with a slice of potato or hash browns, and the name of this beef burger is also known as Gold in Chinese(金), I guess one will just strike gold in this new year, if you have more than a hundred during this holiday period! The Chinese obsession on numbers with plenty of zeros and the "evenness" of the whole amount! The fries are also curly, looking very much like onion rings. Wonder if there is a deeper meaning?

Food is always decent at MacDonald's, never out-of-order, because I guess, it's been around a too long time as a fast-food retailer, stringent quality control standards are already in place, and one just cannot criticize MacDonald's for lack of forethought or Marketing. What could they possibly miss? Everything is so well planned...

food is okey but those some of crew's is un educated just today i experience the girl crew shouting on me because she didn't hear my order and last Saturday the morning duty at 8 am the head crew i experience to her multiple times that he embarrass me to other customer this macdonald in front of the st.paul hospital hk some of those crew is no good they have a bad attitude to Approach...

I though all McDonald's are the same in the past but I am wrong.

The service and hygiene of this particular McDonald is outstanding - they are exceptionally dirty and employees there are all laid back.

It needs to give at least one star to post this review otherwise I will just say NO STAR at all.
