The restaurant is cozy and interior is modern and yet elegant. It is not noisy at all.
I tried the Dim sum tasting menu $428, It is so good!
First served with Chiller cucumber and black fungus in black vinegar sauce, supreme barbecue pork loin in honey sauce. The bbq pork is the best that I had recently, the pork is so tender and juicy, with the right amount of sweetness, so delicious! I wish I could have more.
Soup of the day is good, it is smooth and not greasy.
Shrimp dumping is good, shrimp is fresh ; vegetable dumping with pickled leaves and lotus root is vegetarian but still rich in taste and rather tasty; deep-fried spring roll with egg whites and assorted seafood is so crispy and the seafood matches quite well with egg white; deep fried shrimp toast with yunnan ham is full of shrimp flavor, the texture is rather bouncy! baked turnip pastry with red cherry shrimp and air- dried meat is so fluffy, even it is baked, but it is crispy outside and moist inside; pan fried pork dumpings with kimchi is rich in taste, it is juicy and not spicy at all.
The dessert is Chilled guava cream with mango and sago , since weather is cold, I wish it served hot, but it is rather chill and fresh.
The service is good, staffs are friendly.
I would come again with friends for sure,...
Read moreA fine-dining experience with good food and service. The Mong Kok establishment has one Michelin Stars but not his one. The decor is modern and tables are spacious. We celebrated a birthday and had the section of the restaurant to ourselves! We chose the Yong Le set dinner ($1488 per head) and started with a trio of appetisers consisting suckling pig, jellyfish and food gras. Next was a double-boiled soup with fish maw, sea cucumber and sea welk. Then came Boston lobster, African abalone, zucchini with Yunnan ham and to finish a fried rice. All the dishes were served piping hot (which is especially important for the soup (confirming the dishes were not reheated in the microwave!). The portions were just right and not overwhelming. The dessert was a delicious taro egg white crème brûlée and petite fours. The set did not have too many dishes but each was nicely presented with tasty sauces that piques the taste buds! It was a little pricey but the ingredients were high quality. The cake cutting fee for our birthday cake was $100 which was very reasonable. We...
Read morea lovely dinner here in Ming Court. my friend purposely contacted the restaurant in advance and pre-ordered some food and decided the menu, so we didn't need to bother anything, just show-up and enjoy the meal. we're served in a private room, but no views. the meal then was served in order. they did care about what food to go first and what to be last, in order not to let each of them over dominant on another one. that's very nice arrangement. the bbq pork was wonderful as well as the cold abalone. the highlight was definitely the carb, it's de-shelled and put it back so every scoop was just pure fresh carb meat! the second best of mine was the fish, very flavourful and juicy! the food came at a right pace so we had time in between to enjoy the wine and the conversation. overall a great dinner here and we all recommend this place.
