Good vibe and generally good food. The best were the Bouillabaisse and medium-rare sirloin. But the video and projector resolution is a bit obsolete by today's standard. Le petit chef was clearly pixelated. The storyline was a bit dull and involved unethical fishing 🎣💣, classic production by a technology company. Still, the colors and music kept people engaged. The seats with other guests were a bit too close like local tea restaurants. I can feel them pulling the tablecloth underneath which was unpleasant like sharing the same duvet.😵💫 As we have to synchronize with the performance, the host waited all guests to finish their plate before moving on to another course. So this is a semi-theatrical experience that isn't a place for friends gathering who wants to chill and drink and talk all night long. But if you are late, you don't have to wait for another course like we do in theatres.🤭 And one weird thing is that dietary restrictions were taken care of for the actual plate, Le Petit Chef would still slaughter an octopus in front of you! (My poor lady next to my table) Servers and hosts did their job to mingle and cheer the guests with limited time. A key for this solid four star My partner had a great night, and the interactive elements brought us away from the buzzing city to another world for a...
Read moreThis is a so-called dining experience with 3D visuals. There are a total of 102 dining locations worldwide, but none of them is in France. The Hong Kong one is in Grand Hyatt, 2nd floor of Steakhouse.
Price is acceptable, because it’s in Grand Hyatt, otherwise, it’s a bit overpriced. To make you feel price worthy, they’ve provided a big scoop of caviar on one of the dishes and a piece of self serve truffle, but both are without taste or smell. There was a dish served with plastic bag, no matter cooking grade or not, it was a bit weird. All the food was cooked with heavy cream, I was quite full even it’s just only 6 dishes.
This was a total new experience to me, it would be better if you have kids to bring along, not so suitable for couples dating or business dinners. Also, when taking pictures or videos, best to remove the filter functions.

Read moreI went to Le Petit Chef with my parents together with a 4 year old. I called them inadvance to make sure they were ok with a young toddler. Upon our arrival, one of the staff gave my 4 year old a cushion so that he could sit taller to observe what was coming. Secondly, my son was eating very slowly and one of the staff made several attempts to wait for us before giving the group the next course. I felt very touched by his action and consideration. I told him that it was not necessary to wait for my son's slow eating, however he replied that this is a group experience and better to enjoy it together. I really appreciate what he (the staff) had done for us. Near the end, the staff even called my son his name! The experience for my son lasted for weeks. He kept repeating what happened to Le Petit Chef and sometimes while having dinner he would bring it all up again. Our family loved...
