Read moreThe food quality is ordinary. However, the food preparation is very slow. There is just one chef at the teppanyaki to prepare the main dish for the whole restaurant! My partner and I ordered the Nami set for our lunch break.
The Duck Liver was supposed to be served; however, we were served scallops instead without being told that they ran out of duck liver to serve as part of the set.
When it came to our beef main course, we had to wait almost 45 minutes to be served. We ordered medium well but were served medium or medium rare. Of course, we had no choice but to accept it as we were rushing for time on our lunch break for them to recook again.
With the last four dishes left after the main course, they were served simultaneously! The fried rice and vegetables were too oily, dessert was just a tiny piece of matcha cake and sesame cookie.
The worst 1.5 hours were spent on a proper teppanyaki course meal. It's obvious that the kitchen and service were not organized, and the timing of their preparations was not coordinated.
The only thing that was presented to us very, very fast was the bill when we asked for it.
I will still not recommend this place for lunch even though we were given a 15% discount for giving us a bad dining experience. What's the point of paying HK$1200+ but can't even enjoy a proper...
