First timer here. I roamed in as I’m overseeing a project in the neighborhood. This place is tucked next to some supply stores. Very happy to be here right now after my 6 am call ⏰
This place simply cares about how they operate. Front staff girl 👧 was enthusiastic, upbeat. She welcomed me with a smile 😊
I ordered the lamb lasagna 🍝 and it came piping hot! They make it in-house too. Flavors were all there.. it’s a darn good one for a cafe. They decorate with some fresh herb, not that dried parsley bullsh*t I’ve seen too many times.
Matcha Latte was strong and not watered down like some places I’ve been to.
My only knock. The green salad that comes with the lasagna is not really a salad, just a few leaves, a tomato, and it’s not dressed. I think a light vinegar dressing would have been nice to break up the richness in an otherwise good lasagna dish.
Other than that, it’s a nice spot I’d come back to. Front staff even asked me how I enjoyed my meal and drink.. you mean you care about my customer experience??? What a fresh relief from the typical HK cafe 😄😄😄

We stood in line to order and then, one after the other, as we read items off their menu, the guy behind the counter seemed to experience a short circuit in his brain with each dish. He kept saying “We don’t have that today” with a huffy tone that strongly suggested “don’t bother me”. My friend, don’t take out your preoccupation driven irritation on customers who are there merely to eat and if you must frustrate customer demand, try mixing a tinge of regret about your bad planning and running out of menu items during normal business hours. This is totally different from the amazing, alert service we’ve experienced across all of Hong Kong. This counter guy was special. If he is the owner, good luck to him. If he was an employee, the owners should question the counter guy from June 21st 10:45 am...
Read moreTried N1 upon the recommendation of a friend (He was pertaining to the TST branch, but found a much closer one in Wan Chai, where we stayed) and it didn’t disappoint.
One of the better and stronger coffees I’ve tried in HK and the meal (my sister and I split a salad and lasagna) wasn’t bad either.
The place was small and cozy — reminded me of a coffee shop I went to...
