Paper Stone Bakery is a franchise of western style bakery shops found around Hong Kong including this bakery at the corner of Morrison Street and Des Voeux Road Central in Sheung Wan. Opening hours are 7.30am to 8.30pm (Mon - Sat) and 9am to 7pm (Sundays).
Here you will find a fairly typical range of western style breads and other bakery products. There is an open glassed in bakery so you can watch them preparing and making bread products throughout the day. Breads are individually wrapped in plastic, a bit wasteful but necessary at the moment because of the pandemic.

Note: This bakery offers delivery for those who prefer to not get out during the pandemic. They can send orders directly to you through deliveroo if you are staying...

It was actually quite nice as the bun was soft and fluffy and the filling was more like cream instead of thick white chocolate paste.
Unfortunately, the quality varies at different branches as the one at Popcorn...
Read moreFantastic pastries! Surprisingly, the chocolate bread can keep up with French pastries which is very difficult in my opinion. Usually, any pastries from East-Asia that are supposed to contain chocolate are very disappointing. But the chocolate bread here might be the only exception. Everything I’ve tried tasted very good and not too sweet. Even if looks weird (like the blueberry-walnut-lemon bread), it does not disappoint. Check it out if you’re...
