The first time I heard about Blue Bottle was on Skillshare - the online learning community, with their Director of Training, Michael Phillips talking about how to brew a cup of coffee by hand ☕️ His charisma and the behind-the-scenes sharing of the cupping room immediately ignited my interests over hand drip coffee 🤓

Anyway, it’s quite an exciting thing that blue bottle has established their footprints in HK and we got to taste their coffee anytime!

Went to their 3 storey cafe at Admiralty the other day, the environment is superb, much more spacious and comfy than expected, could be another perfect work from home spot!

Downgraded by two stars: the place got so much traffic nowadays that quality and service went downhill. Even lattes are now closer to just heated milk.

Decent latte high-quality milk and, most of the time, silky foam. A bit too much milk for the amount of espresso.

Cappuccino in reality half-sized latte. Do not order it unless you are looking for something like a cortado.

Haven’t tried espresso, but based on the taste of cappuccino, most probably on the sour side.

Plus one star for the seating on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Place is maintained well, always clean.

Good and professional service, even when busy.

On weekends lots of dog owners camping outside. As a pro - you’ll get a chance to pet a dog. As a con - leftover dog smell is present at the outside...

Upon arriving, I ordered a coffee and waffle for dine-in. The staff did not inform me to find tables first before ordering. However, after my orders arrived, the store was full, and there were no available seats.

When I returned to the counter and politely requested to change my order to takeaway due to the lack of seating, the staff responded with an impolite and dismissive attitude. Their tone and demeanor made me feel as though I was being treated like a troublemaker for making a reasonable request under the circumstances.

This interaction was frustrating and unexpected. I’ve always enjoyed Blue Bottle’s coffee and reputation, but the lack of empathy and sincerity from the staff today detracted significantly from...
