Kobekyu — Local services in Hong Kong

My second time here and again, it didn’t disappoint us at all. This is our first time to the new shop, we picked the new items from the new menu - steak with cheesy mushroom and onions, creamy curry udon with chicken and also salted egg fries! compared to the Mongkok shop, it’s more spacious here. first arrived was the creamy udon, we picked chicken! It was super delicious and satisfying. We had the original one in Korea before and it definitely tasted similar to the og one. we also ordered their new menu items: steak with cheesy mushroom and marinated onions. It was juicy, well cooked and mushroom portion was big and soft too! perfect to share before two people. the fries 🍟 portion was more than enough and the salted egg tasted fresh and flavorful. Lots of ingredients and fries were crunchy on the outside and soft inside, we loved it!!!second time here didn’t disappoint us at all and actually tasted...

Staff was horrendous. Our experience was very similar to someone else’s from 4 months ago. We came in that told us we needed to be out by 10 (even though Google time says 11 btw.) it would have been fine but at 9:30 they started rushing people out and someone in the back was yelling at the staff. And when we tried to ask for a takeout box (because we were beinh rushed out and couldn’t finish our food mind you it’s still 9:30) one of the staff talked over us and told us they’re closing. Their staff was extremely rude like I am usually defending staff, but even the bare minimum was not to be found. Also Covid policies have lifted so they cannot blame their rude...

A non planned visit on Sep.29. I need to get something done in that area and randomly pick a place for lunch in this building.

I was asking for menu after the waitress leave me with a glass of water and a QR Code. Well they use self-serve online ordering... 😅

Reasonable price : the lunch set price from 5x to 12x which is fair price in the area.

MSG : the food taste 100% aligns with expectation as they all taste according to the standard source.

Lift waiting time : usually there are long long queue outside the building as there are only 2 small, 9 pax lifts serving all the office and restaurants in this building. I once waited for 15mins before I can get...
