Quite a hidden gem, especially if you love exploring authentic, small local old shops. Passed by this street by chance and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have a little branch here in Wan Chai. I ordered their signature Cashew paste soup (available only on Sat & Sun and not as common in other dessert shops), which was heavenly creamy and smooth with just the appropriate amount of sweetness. They serve up all kinds of traditional dessert soups at pocket-friendly prices that would be considered rather unusual in this city nowadays. Came on a quiet Sunday afternoon so I didn’t witness the nighttime mania or the allegedly rude server that everyone’s been writing about. Just a friendly older lady and č”—åŠå®¢. Would love to try their other desserts next time!

Was really excited to meet my friend after 3 years at the same store and we ordered 4 bowls of dessert. However we were still chatting and finishing the last bowl of dessert, a staff with long curly hair came to urge us to pay the bill and get the hell out. At the moment there wasn't anyone waiting for the table and we wasn't sitting there without ordering anything. Being kicked out was the worst experience ever and we will surely never come again! (She even spilled the dessert soup on my phone while there was plenty of space on the table. Although there was a sign but it looked like she did that on purpose to us.)

Store is very small with limited seats so be prepared to share the table with others. They had a huge variety of hk traditional desserts. The walnut and sesame pastes were really smooth. The almond egg white was also not too sweet. Portion is good and perfect as an after meal dessert. Saw many people taking away as well. Total 70 hkd for 3 desserts. Most people finish within 5-10 mins so the queue moves quite fast.

Extremely poor service. It was raining, we were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids below 6 years old. Lady was not welcoming, had a sour face when we wanted to sit on 2 tables instead of 1 long table. Fyi there was just 1 other person dining in at 430pm on a tuesday. Claimed that we should sit together. We ordered 3 desserts and she sighed that we couldn’t speak mandarin/canto. She also exclaimed in despair as we only ordered 3 for a ā€˜big group’. All in mandarin - of which we understood some of actually. By this time we really dont feel welcomed and barely ate as we paid and left.

Extremely disappointed and will not recommend to anyone with kids or large...
