Decided to try this place since it keeps appearing on my friend's IG timeline. We went for the 2nd most expensive set.
So, for the set it comes with a platter of different kinds of beef cuts, which, in all our agreement, was low quality, and makes us loose appetite (and its only the "starter" plate, let alone impress the customer).
Then, it takes forever for our order to arrive, and to note, the place was not even half full, it's almost seems like they're holding the order on purpose (it's a all you can eat restaurant).
Then when the order came, the meat slices was frozen solid, I've never had this kind of experience in other hot pot restaurant, for even less than what we are paying here.
Same thing with other review i read here, the empty / dirty plates were not cleaned/collected accordingly, so lack of attentiveness from service team.
Again, food quality was the biggest issue here, we ordered a specific items, which kind the best thing from the set we choose (a wagyu berf wrap), but it never came, and we re-place the order, to no avail, until almost end of the time limit, we asked the service, and the answer was sold out, which we never had yet.
Ordered 4 slices pineapple for desset, turns out 1 slice was obviously rotten (color and texture) hence i discard straight away, while having faith the rest 3 would be fine, just to found out it was rotten taste as well, and I had to spit it of my mouth. At this point we don't even bother to ask for replacement anymore, it was just horrible experience the whole evening.
We asked for pending order to be delivered, but again to encounter slow response, and they even decided to hand the bill, which we then decided to forfeit whatever order was pending, cause at this point, we don't feel like eating anymore. And then suddenly deliver the last 2 pending items (which was ordered more than 30 minutes ago), almost like forcing us to finish the things.
The only thing preventing me of giving one star was the atmosphere design, actually quite nice, almost giving you vibes of real japanese restaurant.
To be honest, I don't find it pleasant to give such a bad review, especially for restaurant, cause me myself, i work in kitchen. But for this case, i just don't want other people having the same experience here. Living in Hong Kong was not cheap, and competition is very tough, if they don't fix the issues, and deliver a better service / experience, I'm afraid they will be the next on the list business which are closed one by one in this economic tough situation.
Would definitely not coming back, and...

Read moreWe selected the B meal which is around $350-$400. The package is just not worth the price, with poor selections of beef. The staff recommended B and would keep asking if we wanted to add on anything else such as extra (paid) sea food, drinks and other meat.
Towards the end of our dinner, another staff came to sit next to us. Basically trying to tell us to give a good review, also they gave us a try of "japanese beef". Although we appreciate the free food, there was NO NEED for her to come and sit with us on the table without even asking.
Trust the negative reviews and save your time from this place. Overpriced, even choosing a different soup would cost extra $30-$40, where as in other restaurants, it...
