We initially wanted to try the shaved ice next door but decided to give this a shot instead due to the long queue next door.
I have seen many reviews on social media for this shop (not sure was it paid promotion or not) since it’s fairly new to the neighbourhood. The shop has a nice retro ambience but the tables are incredible small.
Honestly, I didn’t like it when the staffs insisted us to sit at a small corner/sit outside when there is already a bigger table in the room for us to indulge for a dessert. There was no queue outside the shop! We didn’t want to sit outside as it’s already hot enough and we didn’t mind if we need to share the table with others/move to another table if there will be customers coming in later if you did tell us at the first place. The was already a turn-off when we entered this dessert place, maybe the staffs can practice being more flexible next time.
🍮 caramel banana pudding & peach gum milk pudding We enjoyed the both desserts, taste was alright but no big wow factor. Slightly pricey for the portion but given the nice interior of the shop it’s alright I guess(?) Could be better if there was a printed...
Read moreJust discovered a charming new dessert shop in CWB that draws you in with its nostalgic decor! The vintage walls, flooring, and lamps well captures the essence of HK in the 80-90’s, reflecting the owner's thoughtful attention to detail.
The menu features classic treats like traditional Chinese sweet soups, grass jelly (mesona) with coconut milk, bingsu (shaved ice), and signature puddings.
I tried the signature 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙞 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙖 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙋𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜, topped with a chocolate plate mimicking the Moutai bottle design—so cute and eye-catching 😍! The soft, mousse-like pudding paired with rice crunch was delightful. The chocolate flavor and matcha sauce were rich, making it quite filling, though I found the Moutai flavor a bit mild for my taste.
Overall, it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy dessert with friends after dinner. I can’t wait to try the refreshing tangerine peel dessert next time!

Read moreCool new dessert spot right next to the famous Shari Shari at Caroline Hill. Was very intrigued by the offerings and as it was a cold evening there wasn’t any queue when I entered at 830pm (there was a short queue when I left at 930pm).
Seems they are still new so service was slower than expected, tried the “Mandarin with osmanthus fermented rice and snow swallow” shaved ice which took quite a while to prepare (maybe because they were new and it was a small store and most tables were occupied).
Sadly the Moutai chocolate puddings were sold out and which was another item I was curious to try. Will definitely come...
