🍜 Recently, I came across a trending limited-time Kuromi-themed ramen restaurant on Instagram. This unique pop-up experience will only be available until February 29, 2024, so time is of the essence for those wishing to try it. Each dish at this restaurant incorporates elements or decorations inspired by the beloved character Kuromi, making it truly Instagram-worthy.

We had the pleasure of trying the following dishes:

1️⃣ 特製黑醬油拉麵 (Special Black Soy Sauce Ramen - $98): This specially crafted ramen features a rich black soy sauce broth that adds depth and complexity to the dish. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the toppings complement the flavors beautifully.

2️⃣ 特製黑咖喱撈麵 (Special Made Black Curry Noodles - $118): Indulge in the flavors of black curry with this specialty dish. The combination of aromatic spices and tender noodles creates a delightful fusion of taste.

3️⃣ 明太子章魚燒 (Mentaiko Takovaki - $48): These tantalizing octopus balls are infused with the umami goodness of mentaiko. Each bite offers a burst of flavor and a satisfying texture.

Calling all Sanrio- characters lovers~ Pochacco pop-up ramen house in Hong Kong. Super Kawaii Pochacco Ramen & Decoration, and you will love it!

Japanese Ramen House Iroha Ramen is known for always crossover with different popular Japanese cartoon characters. Their new collaboration is with Pochacco the dog. Limited only, till 16 March, 2025.

Environment: 💚❤️💚❤️ The whole shop is now featuring a Pochacco-themed interior. You will find everywhere the cute Pochacco, cups, ramen bowls, tables, wallpaper, picture even though door curtain.

Food: 💚❤️💚❤️ The ramen house menu features Pochacco-themed ramens, udon noodles, dim sum, desserts and drinks designed for maximum social media appeal.

Special Truffle cream Udon The flat udon noddles is soft and topped with fluffy truffle favour soft cream which made a super cute Pochacco face. The ears & eyes are bread which can also be eaten. Served with Chicken Karaage, mixed tempura and cooked quail eggs.

Special creamy milk Broth ramen The milky and creamy soup base is a perfect match with the chewy ramen noodles! Served with soft boiled egg, corns, Japanese braised pork slices, braised soft pork ribs and carrots.

Special drinks: Don’t miss out the delicious Jelly Apple Soda topped with whipped cream and little stars sparkles. The Pochacco marshmallow sitting on top is so adorable.

Calpis Coconut Soda Tangy and sweet Calpis mixed with coconut jelly topped with whipped cream and little stars sparkles. The different Pochacco marshmallow sitting on top is super cute.

Special Hokkaido Milk Parfait Always room for dessert, right? The super cute Pochacco themed icecream served with fruits and macha mochi. A sweet treat to end with.

👍🏻Good places for people like Japanese cultures and cartoon characters.

The newly launched Sumikko Gurashi limited-time menu in Causeway Bay was such a delightful surprise!

The entire menu is thoughtfully and creatively designed, incorporating the main Sumikko Gurashi characters into each dish.

💖 Special Lychee Coconut Soda This summer special drink is super photogenic! It has a sweet lychee flavour with chewy coconut jelly, topped with a soft Tonkatsu marshmallow that’s fluffy but not overpowering. Refreshingly cool and perfect for hot days.

💖 Special Cold Noodles The chef recommended me trying the special cold noodles. You can choose between sesame sauce or cold noodle sauce. I went with the latter — a sweet and sour blend that really whets the appetite. The noodles are springy, and the fish cake features all five main Sumikko Gurashi characters. Cold and appetizing, ideal for summer.

💖 Chestnut Purple Potato Cake This fried snack deserves praise. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, with rich, naturally sweet purple potato. The price is also very reasonable!

💖 Special Parfait Of course, you can’t miss dessert! The "Sumikko Gurashi Parfait" is just the right size, with ice cream, cake, berry pudding, and not too sweet — super satisfying!

This Sumikko Gurashi limited time menu is perfectly balanced, showing genuine care beyond just being cute. It feels like stepping into a cozy little Japanese-style cafe. It’s not just about good food but also about enjoying some adorable moments.
