this is probably my new cheat meal place 😈 it's pretty easy to miss this store while walking by since it's pretty tucked in (if you see a set of stairs, go down there) but the restaurant itself has such good vibes! very homey and comforting with its own touch, while retaining the NMNL aesthetic. this place has more of a japanese retro spin to it as shown by the beer keg, menu, and design 😎 lighting is a bit :/ for photos but still not bad! the food itself was good! the soup is a bit on the sour side that the grilled cheese couldn't balance out, so wouldn't advise getting that unless you like sour stuff. the macaroni and cheese was great, please add the caramelizes onions on there, it changes things entirely 🥹 the grilled cheese had good depth of flavors, pretty sure there's a blend of cheeses in there hehe, but it's a good choice if you don't know what to eat (which was me and my friend) i had the chicken and waffles, which were probably the best i had in my life 🤭 mochi waffle that was completely crispy, amazing fried chicken that melts in your mouth, maple syrup and butter that tie everything together, and the fried egg that adds another layer to the whole dish - probably my favorite thing on their menu 😌 service was great, despite being ridiculously understaffed. the food made up for the long wait 🤭 price is okay, a bit overpriced but would say the quality makes it understandable. would definitely revisit to try their hidden menu items!

Really cool spot, hidden in an alley in SYP. I agree with the other reviews, the price is definitely up there and some things were great, some were a bit mid. Here is my honest opinion: Hospitality 5 ⭐️ Food 4 ⭐️ Ambiance 5⭐️ Price 3.8 ⭐️ - Double Angus Beef burger: (178HKD) The best thing on the table. The burger is juicy but not watery, which means there’s a good balance of fat and lean meat on the patty. The cheese is also good quality and they add a sweet bbq sauce, which adds a nice touch to the burger. 5 ⭐️ - Chicken Burger: (118HKD) It’s good, but I understand what some of the other reviews meant when they mentioned the quality of the fry. The chicken itself isn’t crispy, it is only the tempura batter that provides the crisp. So this sandwich needs a bit of work. It’s not there yet! 4 ⭐️ - Bacon Mac & Cheese: (98HKD) Unfortunately this dish needs the most work. It’s a bit too watery for a Mac & cheese. They also added a lot of pepper, which I felt was used as a crutch. Because this isn’t a Carbonara, and good Mac & cheese doesn’t need all that pepper. I think they need to figure out how to thicken the cheese, then this can be better. For now, I give it 3 ⭐️ The staff is super friendly and they explained the concept behind the branding. Which I really enjoyed.

What an awesome spot in the SYP area! Truly lives up to the name because this spot indeed has comfort food that won’t disappoint. Learning it’s the same team behind the other known trendy diner-like spot, No Milkshake No Life, I definitely had to hit this place up, which I’m glad I did. It was exactly what I expected; super tasty and hearty American diner-style food. Portions may appear a tad smaller in photos, but trust me, their food is filling. Went for their spicy sichuan shredded chicken grilled cheese, which wasn’t insanely spicy at all, but had the perfect kick with the flavors thrown in all together. The grilled cheese I ordered came with a nice soup, and the milkshake was just the perfect way to top the meal off - so creamy and perfectly thick. Everything was also reasonably priced for what you’re getting, and staff were also friendly. Liked that this place wasn’t too packed either, even on a weekend, so it’s nice and cozy. Would recommend coming here for brunch or for lunch, and definitely need to come back to try other stuff on the menu and their other milkshake flavors.
