Ricos — Restaurant in Hong Kong

The atmosphere seemed nice so we decided to give it a try, but boy did we regret it within seconds after being seated. The waitress wasn't the warmest. The Chorizos and spicy chicken we got as appetizers were soaked in oil and the portion sizes were small. It looked and tasted like something we could've made at home. Overpriced food for what you get.

They were standing around and eating in the back all while forgetting one of our orders. Although I thought it was inappropriate to eat in front of customers, it was almost closing time so that was fine. But the 10% service charge for bad service was unacceptable.

We mainly come here for the great drinks deals (and I think a lot of other people do too) but the food is also pretty tasty. While Rico’s is a Spanish restaurant, the same team also owns the Italian that is now next door, so there is pizza and pasta on the menu too.

Jonny and the staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is always chilled. Highly recommend. Also very dog friendly, we bring our Pomeranian here...

I wouldn’t recommend this place. It looks nice at a glance but the experience was quite bad.

Food portions were TINY. Overpriced big time. When we walked near (not in yet) the waitress was pushy and tried to make us sit down. Then when we ordered two tapas and two drinks she said “Only two dishes?”Our waitress was quite offhand and cold.

Avoid this place. It looks fun and like it has a good atmosphere (which in fairness it does) but the people running it...
