We've just come back from our trip to Istanbul and are craving authentic Turkish food and were delighted to find out the food Turkuaz serves tastes authentically Turkish (they even have an outdoor dining area, resembling most restaurants we dined at in Turkey)! We can tell the boss and the chef (both are Turkish and very friendly!) have high standards for the food they put on their customers' table. Not only that, but every staff member was extremely friendly, hospitable and patient. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming staff! Thank you, Andy, for being such an exceptional, welcoming and kind server. Food-wise, my favorite items are their Adana kebab and baklava! This place is so nice that I went there two days in a row this weekend, and am already planning my third and fourth time! Turkuaz is highly recommended and super worthwhile! I can't wait to take more friends or the same people to this restaurant to feast on authentic Turkish food (again)! The fact that Turkuaz is just a 3-minute walk from exit C at the Sai Ying Pun mtr station AND everything is reasonably priced in HK island standards make this place more desirable than...
Read moreLunch with colleague in this Turkey restaurant with exotic environment and decorations. There’s the Turkish style smoking pipe here too!
The service is extremely kind and good. The manager explained very clearly with good suggestions for us to eat. After the nice vegetable soup, we had Lamb Shish with French fried and Chef’s special chicken with rice. Both of them are truly tasty!! So delicious! Afterwards, there’s drink of Turkish tea and homemade lemon tea that we have chosen. The Turkish tea has very strong taste but is smooth for the throat. The manager is so kind that treated us with dessert Rice pudding. It’s not very sweet but so yummy!
Before we left, the super handsome chef came out to greed with us. We can’t resist to take a nice picture with him to end our...
Read moreA hidden gem in Hong Kong. It is a place where you can find really delicious Turkish food. I had the ottoman kebab, which has some sautéed vegetables (onion, bell peppers, mushroom, tomato) with lamb (you can also choose chicken if you want to). It was super delicious with the right amount of salt and spices. It is served with lavash. The staff is extremely friendly and nice. I asked the kebab without the cheese and they were so kind to make the order without it. The chef is Turkish, so they really care about the quality and the authenticity of the Turkish cuisine. I previously had the soup and the lamb kebab, which were also so delicious. I think whatever you order from the menu, you will not be disappointed. I highly...
