Amazing grilled sirloin steak with fries. Honestly, I wanted to go to Samsen next door, but the line up was too scary, I didn’t want to wait for an hour for lunch so I popped by Yum Kwun just next to Samsen. The decor is interesting, they don’t have a lot of items to choose from but all of them look quite interesting. I ordered the sirloin steak with fries lunch set for 168. For appetiser I had boneless chicken feet, a little spicy for me, but the flavor was amazing. The french fries were hot and crispy. Naturally, I had great expectation for the steak. It did not disappoint. It was juicy, tender and fresh. It wasn’t oily, yet it is still juicy and melted in your mouth. The portion was nice and the steak rested on some spicy salad, which goes well with the steak. You can choose there, a Thai tea, lime, tea, hibiscus tea, or lime soda for free, but I added $48 for a glass of house sparkling wine, I didn’t have any expectation but the Prosecco was very nice. I have been looking for a place that has good happy hour deals. This place offers happy hours from 4 to 7 for weekdays; weekends and holidays from 1 PM to 9 PM. House wine is buy one get one free by glass or by bottle. Would definitely come I came...

My wife and I ordered practically all of the skewers (pork neck, chicken, oysters, cherry tomatoes, and shitake mushrooms). They were perfectly cooked with a spicy and sour glaze. We also ordered the Thai lettuce wraps which had tasty ground pork and fresh crispy lettuce. It slightly salty-sweet which helped cut the spiciness from the skewers. Last food item was the Tom Yum fries which were perfectly cooked and crispy and slightly sour.
For drinks we has a couple of beers that they had on tap. There are 10 different kinds to choose from and their home beer 'Yum Pale Ale' was refreshing with the right bitterness. There was also Honeymoon Hoped Mead which was sweeter with light honey notes.
Definitely coming back and I highly suggest you...
Read moreA place with great vibe for friends gathering, drinks, pub snacks and even serious meal.
It is a tiny place which can’t even seat more than 25 but you won’t feel too crowded. Attentive helpers and a great collection of ale, wine and cocktails.
They have small snack food liked skewers which were all quite nice with a good charcoal favour. There was other serious food liked noodles and rice and they were surprisingly well seasoned and made.
It was a tiny bit noisy cause the vibe was high here but all manageable. It is a small stall so reservation is a must.
Price is reasonable and have happy hours plus discount beyond happy hour. Great place for...
