Banh-tastic for sure!

I’ve always been curious about trying bánh mì in Hong Kong, yet the prices often deterred me. However, after some gentle persuasion from friends, I decided to join them before class. Just a heads-up: items sell out quickly! I arrived at 5:30 PM, and only four varieties were left, despite an extensive menu.

We opted for the grilled chicken ($72) and stewed pork belly ($82). As a discerning eater, I approached with caution; I typically shy away from liver pâté, pickled carrots, and cilantro. My friend, too, has particular tastes, avoiding baguettes, cilantro, and meat floss. We had reservations but were eager to dive in.

The experience was nothing short of exceptional. While I can’t definitively say it’s the best in town since my bánh mì experiences have been limited, this was a superb introduction!

The bread, perfectly balanced in texture, was gentle on the palate. The fillings blended harmoniously, like a finely tuned symphony, with no single flavor overwhelming the others. Each bite was a revelation, the flavors melting beautifully on the tongue. The fresh vegetables added a crispness, while the mayo, pâté, and green onion oil contributed a savory depth. The grilled chicken, lightly seasoned with a hint of lemongrass, was delightful, but the meat floss truly stole the show, adding a unique texture that elevated the entire bánh mì. Don’t forget the chilis with a sudden spicy kick.

My friend also indulged in a side of Vietnamese coffee ($18), which was sweet and rich. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll certainly...

A new ,take out only, Banh Mi spot in Wan chai… Today was the grand opening. I arrived at 12:50 - there was a line of ppl waiting for their orders. Shop front is cute , staff were friendly and efficient when taking orders.

I ordered the springrolls , meat skewer banh mi and Vietnamese coffee. I then joined the group outside to wait for my order. As it was their first day , I think they are still finding their rhythm with respect to catering to large numbers and the backlog. I received my order at 13:55.

The vietnamese coffee was as expected solid 4/5 The springrolls and accompaniments were great (4/5) The Banh mi fillings were great. Skewers were flavourful and well sized. Pickles were exceptional and still had crunch. Sadly the roll let it down , while fresh the outside did not have the crunch expected from a Banh Mi roll (dare I say Sydney Banh Mis have spoilt me) , I would give it a 3/5

Overall it was good - but not an experience that warrants an hour of wait time. I would definitely try it again in the future but won’t be...

By far the most hyped-up bánh mì in town right now—and honestly, it deserves all the praise! That bánh mì was so good I completely forgot to take a picture. (Crazy, right?)

A few Vietnamese friends had recommended this place, so I had to come check it out. As a crazy bánh mì lover, I was overjoyed the moment I took my first bite.

I went with the đặc biệt (special cold cut) since most of the other options were already sold out by the time I got there around 6 PM. The baguette was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—they even offer to reheat it for you, which is a nice touch. The pickled veggies were crunchy and well-balanced, and the various cold cuts were all delicious. And that pâté with the mayo? Incredible.

This might be the most passionate Google review I’ve ever written… but yeah. Top top top. I love bánh mì. Goodbye. Go buy it. oh and get the vietnamese coffee...

Absolutely amazing, being a Vietnamese I can totally vouch for this newly opened restaurant!! The flavor is so authentic and the portion is generous as well! The best Banh mi in HongKong!! You can only takeaway, no seats available.

Drop by this shop to try out their banh mi. Amazed by how soft and fluffy the baguettes are. Tried the cold cut version and the chicken version. Both tasted amazing. It’s all freshly made and toasted so there is a bit of a wait. The cold cut banh min was loaded with a variety of cold cut compared to other restaurants. They also had the egg mayo that’s lacking in other banh mi’s. Super delicious. Tasted pretty authentic to me. As for the grilled chicken banh mi. It’s great option for people who want to try banh mi but not sure if they’ll like it. The flavours delicious and may suit more people’s palates. The chicken was tender and flavourful. Pandan tea was fragrant and refreshing. The only con was the cup got soggy really fast. Can’t wait for them to launch their bun!
