Aged female promoters were giving paper menu with 90% cards outside E1 Exit of MK Station, where 3 almost the same style Japanese All-U-Can-Eat (Daieiki belongs to the opposite side Daikiya Group which in 2019 attempted to be listed in HK Stock Exchange) on 2 sides plus BBQ & Hotpot Buffets so competition is fierce. Very high CP ratio, even for the non Japanese food lovers, because here has plenty of expensive hot food & drinks. 'Do you have cards?' 'Yes, we have 90% card, Senior Cards, Joy You Cards, ID Cards & etc'. Elderly only need to pay 88%. +10% service charge is very common in HK so 10% discount Card can equalise it. Members have discounts & some have vouchers. Not all discounts can be used at once so Choose Your Card Right. Unlikely most Chinese restaurants, here neither charged tea per person nor peanuts. During 5.1 Chinese Labour Day Long Weekend when higher price applied, here was not full in the afternoon but geoduck & surf clam to make me calm were out of stock without price adjustment. Seats & tables are small & uncomfortable to fit more people tightly for profit. Services was slow to a point that we need to clear table ourselves to make space. Recyclables are always contaminated with food scraps so unlikely this Daikiya Group in such a large scale would take the hassles to recycle which I think is lack of social responsibility to reduce waste. Uncooked seafood were as great as other brands of Daikiya. Pigeons were crispy. Cooked food like FOIE GRAS, abalones, fish Maw, eels, lamb cutlets, mini beef hotpot & etc were amazing so the people who neither eat raw nor like cold food much still have many luxury choices. Defrost Fruit King Durian was not as smelly as fresh. Alcoholic must love bottomless Japanese Sake, Umeshu, beer & etc. Lots of...

We went to enjoy the 2 hour long buffet here and got offered a small table, then we asked for a bigger table since it’s a buffet and all of plates just wouldn’t fit into that small table. We also didn’t want to feel cramped next to all other people and a plenty of bigger tables were free. The waitress then agreed to give us a bigger table but under the condition we will be finished in 1.5 hours. Though it was odd we accepted it and started dining. Thirty minutes later the waitress comes in with a bill and tells us that we need to place our last order within 30 minutes. Then 10 mins later she comes again and asks how we are going to pay. At that moment I felt so unwelcomed and felt interrupted and unwanted, we were literally 40 mins into the dinner and already felt like she wants to kick us out. There is literally a cashier next to the exit and it was absolutely unnecessary of her to come up asking us to pay the bill. I am not sure if we got this treatment because we are foreigners, but I saw plenty of people sitting on the bigger tables with no problem.

Food is mid, not worth the money, I saw a lot of people getting sashimi so probably if you like it and don’t mind the low service, you can come here. Otherwise, don’t waste your...

Without scanning Qr code you can still order the food by pick up their leaflets from front entrance or ask waiter for it, what I do is 1. Circle the food & pieces you want like × 4 etc. then hand it to the waiter, be patient ! Still starving, you know what to do next. 2. Collect few of their leaflets when check out for your next visit, be sure to pre-oder before leaving your home, once you are seated, hand straight to the waiter to save waiting time. Been there twice they sure gonna...

First Japanese restaurant we tried in Hong Kong. Ordering style is seamless but requires you to have a mobile phone. You scan the QR code and pick what dishes you want. Online menu is in English and Chinese. You can grab drinks and other dishes from the bar next to the entrance. Food was on and off, with some good quality and some low quality dishes. Overall, the experience could’ve been made better with more cooked options and English signaling.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself here. For the buffet price, the spread was amazing. They even offer free flow of various types of alcohol. Additionally, we ordered many dishes and all were amazing and fresh. The sashimi was fresh, sushi types were amazing, fried durian mochi was amazing too. I will definitely be back. Additionally, the staff service was great.
