Restaurant is kid friendly, mix of table seating arrangements including some booths which were comfortable (where we were seated). Light background music and attentive service staff. Food and beverage menu has a good variety of Italian classics (pasta, pizza, lasagna and risotto). Booklet is quite colourful with pictures, they also have a set menu which is a good option for people that don't usually do Italian food. Restaurant entry is interesting - has a Japanese section on the left and Italian restaurant on the right side. Customers have to use a QR code on the table to place their order and payment is at the counter after your meal. Ordered some house red wine - I love my red wine and the one that was served to me was below par. I think they need to get a better-quality house red. Also ordered a range of food including their wagyu beef which was ok but nothing more (cooked well but the quality was not quite there). Red and white pasta dishes was ok but no more. I thought the plating on the lamb chops and steak was good though, placed on a hot plate to keep them warm. Chips was good, nice golden colour...
Read morehorrible food, restaurant name sounds like they are professional on pasta making, but comes out even the pasta wasn't done right. Ordered a lasagna, the tomatoes were extremely sour, lacking any seasoning, and there was only a small amount of meat. However, for some reason, there were large chunks of carrots and celery thrown in. This doesn't resemble a traditional tea restaurant's meat sauce pasta.
We also ordered a seafood pizza. The crust wasn't like a pizza but felt more like a pancake. The edges were burnt, yet the middle was completely undercooked. It's truly amazing that a pizza could be baked like this, showcasing the chef's skills. The seafood on top consisted of two types - frozen shrimp and frozen clam meat. As soon as you took a bite, the taste of being frozen hit you instantly. Moreover, the entire pizza lacked seasoning. It's as basic as any ordinary chain pizza shop could make a better pizza then them for sure, and this restaurant is simply the worst...
Read moreI went there with my girl friends one fine afternoon. We had a set for two and additional main courses.
The shop is called Pastaholic. It’s not necessarily Italian Oriented pasta restaurant. So you might be disappointed if you are looking for that or something close. The cooking style, the sauce and taste are completely different than what I had expected. I would say they are favourable to local people if you want something different and light with local touch. The steak was good though which is an irony.😅
They have several vegan options which is great. I love that concept. The staff were nice and the atmosphere is warm. We stayed there for around 2 hours and none disturbed us or rushed us to pay. It was pretty crowded but we felt...
